“A wonderful stay”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

We came to this hotel as part of our honeymoon trip to Cambodia and were not disappointed. Our room was lovely and large with petals scattered all over the bed spelling out 'honeymoon' which was a great touch. The breakfast was large and varied and the staff were so friendly. Cocktails in the evening were also great

After all that temple trecking we enjoyed relaxing at the hotel for a few days, both pools are lovely, clean and towels are supplied

It is a short walk in to town where we ate most nights and had a few drinks in pub street!

Overall a great stay, i would highly recommend

This is a really nice clean hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. Location is good and able to walk to the night market and yet secluded. We love the 2 pools.

What impressed me the most was the restaurant. We had dinner there and we were treated as though it were a 5 star restaurant. The food was very good, the waiters attentive but not hovering. We were even offered a complementary glass of wine with our dinner.

I am impressed.

I am an NGO worker in Cambodia who has stayed at many of the guest houses in Siem Reap and this is our favorite. There are others that are cheaper but nothing as nice as this.

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at this hotel during November. We ate at the hotel each day and can only say that the food and drinks were outstanding and very reasonably priced. The two waiters who served us each evening were outstanding and I can not speak highly enough of both of them, they were a large part of why we enjoyed this hotel so much. The rooms were comfortable with a lovely balcony. We will definitely go back again.

I had a great room, room 201 with large double bed, balcony overlooking the pool and garden area and a nice bathroom. Both pools were great, cocktails by the pool and lunch was great. It is an easy 10 minute stroll to pub street where I spent most nights. Food in hotel was great, especially breakfast. They did my laundry which was quick and easy, daily room cleaning and free wifi. The only let down was the speed of the internet and it was non existent at times. Staff were also very pleasant although the English was not that fluent.

Room Tip: 201 was perfect!

My second visit within 18 months to this lovely hotel was quite a pleasant surprise. The road leading to the Hotel had been paved and the Hotel itself was completely renovated. My previous stay had been very pleasant and my decision to return was rewarded with a beautifully renovated Suite for the same cost as a standard room! I was happy to accept this offer as minor works were ongoing at the rear of the Hotel.
The rooms were beautifully refurbished with quality fixtures and fittings! Top quality workmanship.
The Hotel is set in beautiful gardens and has two huge swimming pools. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the gardens manured to perfection. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was high quality. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful, they also spoke French.
Nothing was too much trouble.Laundry charges were very cheap and the selection and quality of the buffet breakfast was outstanding!
After a long hot day of various activities the Hotel provided welcome relief, nourishment and a relaxing ambiance.
The location is very close to the town center.
Highly recommended
Tip. Rise early to miss the crowds around the Temples . Don't pay more the $5 USD for a massage!

Room Tip: Second floor balcony rooms are more private

When we arrive to the hotel from a very difficult day (food poisoning the day before and a entire day of travel) we were very happy to see the hotel. It is beautiful, well furnished, nice swimming pools, a lot of trees....exactly like the pictures.

Then a staff from reception show us our rooms (we booked two rooms through Agoda because we were travelling with my parents). Being with a small kid we needed a double bed so he could sleep between my husband and I.

The first room was big but with twin beds, we let my parents take it since we needed the double bed and explain the situation to the receptionist who said "no problem" and took us to an other room (much further, smaller, upstair and with a view on a wall) which also had twin beds. We explain again that a double bed was really necessary he then told me that all the rooms where booked but that the reception will make the change the next morning. Then we move the twin beds together so my child was safe at night.

The next day I went to reception to ask about the room and they took 30 minutes to explain the hotel was fully booked and the change was impossible... The manager also made me feel guilty about it telling me that I should have writte it in special request, it may be true but I was unaware that a double bed was a special request, as well as being close to the other room I booked in the same time. If I had booked two rooms for a familly with children, this might have been a really big issue (apparently this is a special request too).
So far the reception staff is nice but speak a poor english and the manager is kind of rude.

On the same night we were tired and decided to eat at the hotel. Well it was a mistake. The waiter are nice, and you can tell they are trying really hard but their english is worse than the reception staff and the cook is so slow. My ungry kid had to wait 1 hour (seriously not exagerating) for pasta. We all had to wait an hour or more for simple food that wasn't even good. We tried two days later to eat there again, and we had the same experience, so don't eat lunch or diner there it s so doesn 't worth it !

The breakfast on the other hand was really nice with yoghurt, pastries, fruits ... it was a very good meal to start the day.

Overall, I would not recommand this hotel because of the service. The building itself is very nice (not for sleeping late though, because a huge building is being built near by and the noise starts around 8 am) but our experience with the staff had been really desappointing. We understood right away that they would do nothing to help us to feel better and never asked anything again.
Aso good to know, they don't have international phone available (needed to call a doctor at night.... couldn't).

Room Tip: If you decide to stay there be sure to ask for a double bed if you want one, and room on the ground...

Stayed with friends for 4 nights. Comfortable and friendly, Rooms clean and tidy. 2 swimming pools ideal for relaxing around after hot days out. Breakfast very nice with plenty of choice. Easy walking distance to town centre with all the bars, restaurants markets etc. Good location as base to visit all surrounding sites etc. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Note though there is construction work underway close by overlooking one of the swimming pools although this did not pose a problem for us.
