My partner and I have just returned from Sojourn. We were staying there for 5 nights in May. We had the Temple Villa on a 5 night luxury package.

From the second you pull up at Sojourn and greeted, handed a cold jasmine fragranced towel to wipe your face, you just know this is going to be perfect! Were greeted so warmly and sincerely and went through the intinerary, before being shown to our room. The room was stunning! Very spacious, room and bathroom and a gorgeous out door shower area, which is a muct! Upon arrival, we got a bottle of wine on ice, crisp clean glasses, chocolates with orchids and Two fresh cocktails. This was part of the luxury package - I truly recommend this! You get such amazing value for your money, infact too much! We got a fulltime driver designated to us, 1 meal at the Sojourn restaurant, which was exquisite. 1 Night out at a local Khmer dance with all you can eat. 1 free full body massage, a picnic hamper to watch the sunset, 2 for one cocktails and more!!! all the above is person. The grounds were very tropical and maintained to a very high standard, the swimming pool was beautiful. In the evening the place just got prettier (apart from the bugs) Breakfast were fantastic!! as with everything on the menu.

This place just couldnt be any better, Fiona and Anthony have created heaven on earth and the staff are just adorable and will ensure you have the most amazing stay.

Thanks for making this stay the most memorable stay I have ever had - You guys got the place and service 100% right!

This hotel is just beautiful, staff couldn't be more attentive and caring, and great to have a location outside of the bustle and dust of Siem Reap town. The village of Treak is very pretty and one attraction is taking a tour of the village with the special highlight of the town temple and monastery only a short walk from the gates of Sojourn!

My husband and I stayed at the Sojourn for 3 nights during our month long honeymoon to the Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia. By far, this was the best place we stayed our entire trip. The entire staff was so welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived to the when we left. They had decorated our bed with tons of fresh flowers in the shape of hearts and had a bottle of wine to welcome us to our honeymoon- such a nice touch!

The villas are wonderful - roomy, comfortable, and what a bargain for $80/night (They are currently running a special since the hotel is new)! The food at the restaurant was top notch (we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our time there). After spending hours out at Angkor Wat, it was so nice to come back to such a relaxing place where you could enjoy the beautiful pool and happy hour at the swim up bar. Nak made the best fresh mango daiquiris. We even got in-room massages to help our tired muscles, which were a little more expensive than what you could get in town, but it's in your own room and worth it!

They are more than accommodating and even though our flight was not until later in the evening, they let us stay and use the pool all afternoon. They even have showers so you can wash up.

We also took the tour to Beng Melea through them and it was great. Our tour guide, Lim, was so informative and we really enjoyed it (even though we usually aren't tour people). We weren't there on the right day to do the Tonle Sap river tour with them, so we went on our own...what a mistake! Not only did it cost more for the tuk tuk and boat ride than the tour would have for 2 of us, but local guide on the boat we got was not so great and even demanded a tip at the end. Moral of the story- take their tours! Worth it!

Even though the tuk tuk rde takes a little bit of time and is a bit bumpy to get there, SO worth it! (They were in the process of paving one of the roads while we were there, so it might be better in the future). We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend anyone going to Siem Reap to stay at this absolutely fabulous place! We booked our room directly through their website: http://sojournsiemreap.com/ and had no problems at all.

We can be very short about our stay - Sojourn is simply fantastic! The place has real character, great atmosphere, wonderful staff and it was the best to jump into the pool after having spent a whole day visiting the beautiful temples in the burning heat... Ordering one of the delicious cocktails at the pool bar is the cherry on the cake! We thought the location was a plus being just outside of the town centre (3km) away from the mass and in the midst of the rice paddies! And definitely don't miss the restaurant as we thought the food was outstanding! We definitely hope to come back!

We spent 2 days here after spending some time in the city of Siem Reap. It was a nice break being out in the country side. We woke up in the morning to chanting eminating from a temple in the distance. This is a very romantic spot with beautiful bungalows, wonderful swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. I loved the private outdoor shower in our bungalow. It's just a short tuktuk ride back into town but we really enjoyed a break from the city. We took this opportunity to relax a bit after spending 3 days walking the area around Angkor Wat. The pool was a wonderful and refreshing place to hang out. We heard music coming from a community celebration during our first diinner there. The wonderfully helpful staff offered to take us to the event and we had an amazing adventure walking with local families to the site and experiencing the celebration. We want to compliment our hosts and the staff for providing such a wonderful experience at Sojourn.

I spent 5 nights at Sojourn in late February. I was surprised by the 5 star treatment I got.
Here are the highlights:
- The bungalows are very roomy with a large bathroom, with 2 showers, one inside the other outside.
- The level of English of the staff is surprisingly high.
- The pool is clean and the water at the right temperature. There's a bar at the pool as well, you can sip your drink sitting in the water.
- No noise whatsoever during the day or at night.
- The food at the restaurant is very tasty and made only with fresh local products from the village surrounding the hotel.
- It's a 20 minute tuk-tuk ride to Angkor Wat and 10 minutes to downtown Siem Reap

I would recommend this hotel to couples with or without children.
They offer a walk and talk tour in the village where is located the hotel. You can also freely walk around by yourself, I found the villagers very welcoming.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience, I will definitely come back.
Pierre

My wife and myself were fortunate enough to stay for 7 days at this hotel arriving 17th Jan.The hotel is very new only having been open a couple of months or so and has a staff in excess of 20 to care for the guests in the 10 rooms. The staff are encouraged to engage the guests in conversation and enquire about your days plans, they also address you by your first name as long as you are happy for them to do so.My wife and myself found the hotel to be a very relaxing place to stay and only a 10-15 min tuk tuk ride($3) from the noise, and dust of Siem Reap.
The rooms are all detached from one another and minimalist in style. The food was very good as was the service. If you are going to Siem Reap and want a good quality and slightly alternative hotel consider the Sojourn
