The staff at Soujourn were very keen to help with all arrangements wrt visiting Ankor Wat and anything else (drivers, restaurants, massage etc). Food was great and they mix up a mean Mojito too. It's quiet, personal and all very relaxing. Highly recommended.

Sojourn was no. 1 on tripadvisor when we booked, and it sure didn't disappoint - in fact, Sojourn managed to exceed our expectations. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, with all our needs met by very friendly staff. The villas are set in beautiful gardens, and the resort itself located in a little village outside siem reap. It was actually really nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of siem reap, yet only ever a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away from the centre of town. Any time we wanted a trip to Siem Reap, staff would arrange a tuk tuk for us for the night for a few dollars - resort management is keen to make up for the fact that they're a bit out of town. We also thoroughly enjoyed any of our trips to Angkor Wat, and Tongle Sap through the hotel. Food in the restaurant is great too, heaps of options for breakfast and included in the room rate. We got hooked on the cinammon/banana/palm sugar on toast! We have already recommended this as a great break to our friends and family.

Enjoy my stay @ Sojourn for 3 night, so quiet and tranquil hotel.
Even the location a bit far from the city center, but don't worry, you just need to call the receptionist for Tuk Tuk Service, in 15 minutes your ride will pick you up.

The staffs are helpful and smile, lovely pool and a nice and big room to stay...
2 thumbs up !

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sojourn Villas. The Villas are fabulous! Very clean with nice amenities. The pool has a really nice swim up bar. The staff is awesome and are always with a smile. The food is excellent. You must try the green curry chicken and the chicken satay. My son loved the shakes. Food very inexpensive! Free Wifi The surrounding area is a small village that is very interesting to walk around! We could not have enjoyed our stay anymore!! Thanks Sojourn Villa staff!

Stayed for five nights. The welcome was wonderful and as previous posters have said the staff are lovely. They are definitely smiley and will do whatever is necessary to make you feel comfortable.
The rooms are great and comfortable if (to our taste) a bit spartan in appearance... Amenities also good although I would have welcomed body lotion being provided with the toiletries . Adore the fact that there are proper tea and coffee making facilities including fresh milk for the tea. Many hotels lack this touch.
Another great plus is the book bundle in the rooms. Was able to read a lot and exchange the book I read on the way here. The pool and gardens are gorgeous and in the evenings there is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. We really like frogs and geckos.
Super Tuk Tuk service and Mr Stal was a true star, driving us around for three days.
Loved the fact that the Hotel is so into working with the local people and encourages responible tourism.
We also really liked being out of town. It is really quiet and peaceful at night but given the great Tuk Tuk service, town is a mere fifteen minutes away. No problem with the bar closing at nine thirty either. After a hard day templing we were more than ready for a good night's sleep by then or shortly after.
Would definitely come here again. Would maybe like some sort of bar area other than the swim up bar as there really wasn't anywhere to relax other than in the room or just outside it.
Appreciate the fact that the Hotel has only been open for two years, hence the title and recognition that any wrinkles will get ironed out. Last time we stayed in Siem Reap we stayed at the Sofitel. I think it says a lot that we didn't book there this time!
Would definitely recommend Sojourn to anybody. Enjoy :-) !!

Although a bit out of Siem Reap centre, it is max. 10-15 minutes drive. Very peaceful and extremely comfortable, this is an accomodation of 10 small villas surrounding a small but very nice pool with the poolbar. We had a Three Days Getaway package, that included personal car/driver, guiding service for one day at Angkor, sunset trip to Tonle Sap lake as well as some other sightseeing. Fantastic package that allows to safely see many things aroung Siem Reap and have some relax as well.
Hotel service was perfect, food was very good (probably the best we had in Cambodia) and the beautiful hotel and garden made it a perfect stay for Siem Reap. Plus, which is an important thing for us - it is small and cosy as opposite to full-of-bus-trips hotels downtown.

We travelled for a month around Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
Our budget for most of the places we staying was between $5-$30, but we thought we would treat ourselves at the end of our trip and stay at Sojourn before we went home.
We had been in Siem Reap at another hotel for a few days and paid $10 a night for a wicked room so we were a little worried maybe we wouldn't get something ten times as nice.
But we were wrong. Sojourn is 5mins ride out of town ($3 for the hotel tuk tuk - you cant get anywhere in town for less than $2 so very good value) and it is a proper retreat. Very quiet with 5 star facilities and treatment. The food was amazing, reasonably priced. The pool was amazing - not hot at all.
We visited the local temple and village and met the locals. I had read a negative review from an Australian lady and she appears to be completely wrong. You can clearly see the positive effect that the little resort has on Treak village.
Yes its luxurious, and yes you are in a country where many are not as fortunate as most in the west, but you if you spend wisely you can make a difference and contribute to improving local people's lives while you are there.
I think perhaps the lady from Melbourne felt very guilty for staying in a luxury hotel in a rural environment. She could have easily stayed somewhere else for $3 a night if she had have chosen to. But that might have been a little too real for her. Sorry - her review really bothered me.
Loved it, loved the stafff and loved the food and the pool. Oh and happy hour at the poolside bar :)
