Decor - Every room had a balcony right next to the little waterlily pond in the middle.
Swim - Every room had a pool but it's small yet deep. Not meant for swimming. A bit of leaves and petals floating, was unsure about water cleanliness.
Location - A bit out of the way but not far, and the peace and quietness was well worth it.
Breakfast - Good portion to gear up for the full days of walking and climbing.
Service - Room came with essential oil burners (with lemongrass oil) accompanied by extra tealight candles and matches.
Internet - Free wifi, though connection a bit sketchy.
Manager - Very friendly and capable.
Concierge - The same as receptionist. Because it is a small place, the receptionist is not too busy and is able and very willing to help you with calling and making reservations for you.
Gecko - Tons of them at night and huge. They are harmless, in fact, you should be glad they are eating up the mosquitos for you, otherwise, you might be eating alive by mosquitos instead.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel with 2 friends.
As the only 3 guests in the hotel at the time, the staff were fantastic and didn't slack off at all, responding to all requests made.
The room was very nice and relaxing to stay in, the colours and furnishings were fantastic., with an LCD TV with many international channels.
Breakfast was not buffet, instead we were presented with a plate of fresh fruit, breads, eggs, bacon and a sauasage.
The right Highlight of this hotel however would have to be the individual pools. I can however understand how some people find these not private, because you can literally see all the rooms from your balcany. We however enjoyed it non the less.

My only negetive comment of this hotel would be it's distance outside of town. Lucky enough I have my own car so it was not a problem, however if you were a tourist, i can imagine that it would be hard to Get to Siem reap and then find a tuk tuk willing to take you back.

I would however definetly stay here again.
The individual pools were a treat after a long afternoon drive.

Room Tip: if you want privacy for your swimming, ask for a room away form the resturant,

Stayed 5 nights in Feb 2012. Very easy to book hotel called direct and spoke to Sokia who quickly confirmed the reservation by email. Hotel is located in the countryside but is not any further from the temples than if we had stayed in town. Easy to get into town via tik tuk. The rooms are very relaxing, clean and well furnished. The staff were very kind and helpful. Sokia recommended Yim Yim a great tuk tuk driver plus also a great host- he was able to advise which temples, floating village to go and see. He was also very patient, did not rush us around the temples made for a very leisurely and relaxing trip. Used Yim for all 4 days we were there. Mr Sambos breakfasts are very much missed back to boring oatmeal now we are home. Sokia was also very helpful in aranging a taxi to the border so we could travel onto Bangkok. Sokia recommeded great people plus it also avoided hassle of bartering. Cant praised her enough

We had read the reviews to know Suites and Sweet (despite the strange name) would be a good place to stay with outstanding service. But you have to experience the service to believe it. The GM and his staff are always smiling and always helpful with any kind of request - be it ordering stamps to booking flights. The other major stand-out aspect was the location. It's away from the hustle of the city area which means you wake up to a lake and sounds of the country-side. To top that off even further - the hotel arranges for a FREE tuk-tuk for evening outings for the guests. This was an unexpected and amazing bonus. After a long day of sight seeing, a friendly smiling tuk-tuk driver takes you to Pub Street on his chariot and brings you back late in the night when you are done. No haggling required. SUPERB.

The villas are spacious and nicely appointed. The private pool is very nice albeit not completely private.

I would highly recommend Suites & Sweet to anyone travelling to Siem Reap. There is much more to the place but the quality of service is what stayed with us. You can't put a price on that.

Room Tip: The villas are identical. They all face the lake and have a private pool.

I had the best time at Best Western. The GM and staff are all fantastic and provided such excellent service I wish my holiday would not end. Romantic and peaceful yet just 10 minutes from the city. One of my favourite holiday hotels yet

Each room has a standard pool, which is nice. Service is good, but the location of the hotel is a bit far from anything. However, they do provide free shuttle to town. The atmosphere is nice and quaint, food selection in the restaurant is a bit limited. Impressed with the friendly service the hotel provide.
