Very convenient hotel-close to centre but away from the nose of pub street. Pool was lovely after sightseeing from sunrise. Packed breakfast for early starts was a nice touch. Bathroom is unlike any I've seen -mini Angkor in your room. Buffet breakfast not always available but the a la carte was delicious (and included in room rate) if a little slow to arrive. Great coffee!

The most unique hotel I have stayed in with its quaint design and decor. It just feels like you are in Siem Reap! Rooms are spacious and everything just looks good. The pool is nice for a dip from all the heat and dirt from the streets. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The location is just 3 minutes walk to Pub Street where you can find many restaurants, pubs and everything a tourist needs! No need for tuk tuks when you stay here. The only place to avoid is the restaurant. Food was very ordinary. Many better places nearby.

Room Tip: Standard rooms are really big!

We like to say that if you go 3 nights to Siem Reap, this hotel is a beauty. You feel like you are sleeping in the Bayon, Angkor Wat area. The hotel looks great and is great. Very old building and restored as a hotel. Very very nice rooms and big. Everywhere you go looks so beautiful and inside it looks like a tempel. The staff is very kind and do not forget the awesome pool upstairs. This place is located just perfect to go into the city and explore all the nightmarkets, bars and restaurants.

Room Tip: Standardroom is great so all the others must be even greater.

Loved the hotel. Staff was very helpful. Location perfect.
Shower had a fountain and sculpture.
Could use more rooms with twin beds. Also bathroom had tight fit but I saw another room without that problem so I think it was only ours. Roof top pool was nice. Great place. Sorry to leave there!

Room Tip: if you can't fit in a tiny bathroom you won't want room 101. Pay extra for a deluxe or supe...

We were amazed by the rooms in the hotel, especially the bathrooms. They are unlike anything I have seen before (in a good way!) The hotel pool on the roof is great

Stayed at the Terrasse des Elephants early June for a couple of nights.. Great location, fantastic pool on the roof to cool off after a hot day at the temples. Quirky rooms with your own lily pond, Khymer deco and right in the heart of Siem Reap. Short walk to the night market and a few drinks at the Island Bar (a must do) and just next to Pub St and The Alley.. don't be put off as Pub St and the Alley are mostly restaurants with many different cuisines to suit all tastes. You won't be disappointed...

OK we did not spend a night in this hotel but we did look at the room and were given a tour of the hotel by a very pleasant member of staff.

The hotel in a triangular shape set on a road junction the outer part of the hotel decorated by full size elephant and large shady green tress (its quite an impressive site) Inside is lined with pools full of lotus plants and Angkor type statues.

We entered we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady in authentic dress who offered us a tour of the hotel and view of a room.

The quirky but fun theme continued as we walked towards the room, then we entered the room and WOW we only find a miniature Angkor Thom covering half the room and encompassing a shower and wash basin along with a mini fountain flowing into a pool beneath the feature. The other half of the room contained a big comfortable bed and large TV system. A small WC room and balcony that look over the road.

The rest of the hotel contained several bars and a wonderfully shady roof top swimming.

I loved this place and really wanted to stay but it was just a little too quirky for my wife and the price was a little high,

I you want a really fun quirky experience I fully recommend this place, it very central and has great facilities and from our short time here seemed to have great service.

Room Tip: ask for a tour then decide This hotel has a road on all sides but road noise did not seem a proble...
