We really enjoyed our stay at the Angkor Pearl. The staff were very friendly and courteous the entire time. We received a welcome drink upon arrival, they carried our bags to our room and we received a welcome letter from the manager. The room was particularly spacious and very clean. The location is perfect, only 10 minute walk from Pub Street and so very quiet at night. We booked the tuk tuk driver via the hotel and he took us to the Angkor Wat temples for 3 days. He was great and was a reasonable price of $12 a day.

The only negatives are the road that the hotel is located on, very muddy to walk down and there wasn't a safety deposit box in the room. You can store valuables in reception. Breakfast could be improved. We had to always ask for the food & juice to be replenished and this could take a while. Otherwise we would recommend this hotel as a place to stay in Siem Reap. We even received a gift when we left.

Very happy to stayed in this small and warm hotel for few days, the picked up is unique by using the tuktuk not a car, understood that we need a room for nap after a very early flight from KL and also great wi-fi connection in the rooms.
Too bad they have trouble telephone cable, so we should go downstairs to ask or order anything. But the receptionist very helpful and speak quite good english.
The price for getting around Angkor Wat or city is very reasonable and reliable, made us to feel secure and happy.

Room Tip: ask for corner room, they put the router on the corner, made ur room in very good wifi connection

What a great hotel experience - from check-in to check-out. Front of house staff exceptional in every respect, five star service. Excellent breakfast, free wi-fi and your own tuk tuk driver to take you on day trips for $15 per day. Free airport pick-up too. Rooms are well furnished, clean with a/c and good shower. No room safe was the only negative, you have to use the safe at reception. Use the laundry across the road - only 1$ per kg.

simply ideal . all staff really friendly, nothing too much trouble. quiet location, big clean room. excellent Mr Ben and Mr Chen tuk tuk drivers. only downside is the potholed and dark access road, but you are only 100m from the main road so i felt entirely safe. walking distance of pub street and plenty of good restaurant options. highly recommended.

our second visit to Cambodia, and we stayed at Angkor Pearl both times. goes to show we've no complaints. conveniently located, far enough from Pub Street to be super affordable, and close enough to walk for a little exercise, and everything else is just a tuktuk ride away. very friendly owner, Peter. very warm, accommodating, attentive staff at the reception and the restaurant. because we stayed so long during the second visit we became friendly with the tuktuk drivers who are hanging out outside. they are so much fun to be with, trustworthy, we learned so much about Cambodian culture from them, and one of them speaks excellent English, Sam (samtuktuk@yahoo.com). Sam and everyone else will go out of their way to be helpful and make your visit a happy one :)
