Booked this hotel after reading the reviews. Stayed for 2 nights and the hotel location was good.
Staff was friendly and service was good. Nothing to shout with the room and breakfast with the price you pay. Don't complain about it. Tuk tuk always on standby in front of the hotel, unless you plan to rent a bicycle and ride around, which we did. Good experience ! We had a late flight back to KL and we were glad that the staff offered us a room to shower after our "temple run" tour before heading to airport. Be prepared to walk up to your room as this hotel does not have any elevator. Afterall, you only pay USD 18++ per room/night. Highly recommended !

Room Tip: If you can't walk or lazy to walk up to your room, make sure you ask for lower floor !

Based on favorable reviews, we booked Angkor Pearl via AirAsiaGo and stayed there for 4 nights. I emailed them a few weeks before arriving and they arranged for a tuk-tuk driver to pick us up from the airport. The hotel is strategically located, about 15 minutes walk from Pub street and the old market. Service at the hotel was good, reception friendly and helpful. The tuk-tuk driver, Mr Khorn was a gem - courteous, obliging and helpful. He made sure that there are bottles of cold mineral water ready for us after thirsty, tiring trips to the temples or the lake. The hotel room is large and tastefully decorated. Aircond works great in the room that we have. Overall, a very satisfying stay for the price we paid. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical this hotel could be as good as the reviews indicated for the price of $18. a night. But it was great! the staff is friendly and helpful, the room is air conditioned and very clean. The breakfast buffet was great and the location is about 2 blocks from the main street in town. If you need and elevator ( four floors), a swimming pool, fluffy towels or HD TV then look elsewhere but otherwise this hotel is a real gem. the hotel has several tuk-tuks they sponsor and I found Mr Tien particularly helpful in getting me around the temple sites.

From the day we arrived till the last day it was amazing experience! We were picked up when we arrived and taken to the Hotel. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and very helpful. You will get a great night of sleep to re-energize you for the next day of Angkor Temple hunting. They have a great selection of food and the staff will prepare anything to your satisfaction. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great place to stay for an amazing price. The Tuk-Tuk drivers of the AngKor Pearl will cater to your exploring needs and desires. They will take you anywhere and wait for you until you are done with your adventure. Their recommendations are very helpful if you want to avoid the pricey tourist prices and at the same time experience the rich culture. I will come back in the near future and stay hear again!

Dear Sir,

Thank you for taking your time to write us a review of your most recent stay with us. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us and apologize for the malfunction of the air-conditioner in your room at that time. Our staff (Reception) and housekeeping manager did check the Air-conditioner and called an engineer to check in which he spent a few hours working on it and was not able to fix it and had to order parts. We unfortunately were full that day and could not change rooms and could only provide a fan as an alternative solution. We try very hard to make sure our guest's stay is comfortable and we try our best to accommodate our guest with every request they may have.
Please note we do accept room location request prior to arrival as well.

Thank you again for your candid review and we wish you well on your travels!

I was very pleased with my stay and Angkor Pearl. The hotel is not a luxury hotel or resort and is rather basic. So if you're looking for that you should look elsewhere. If, however, you're looking for a great value that is clean and with just enough amenities with good customer service, this place is highly recommended. It is clean with powerful air-con, decent in-room free internet (fades in and out occasionally but all in all good enough to do video chat), customer service was great, included breakfast was tasty and with good selection, overall it is a great value. The place is a short tuk tuk ride ($2) to the downtown area. My parents were travelling with me and tend to like nicer places with more luxury. At first, starting with the complimentary tuk tuk ride to the hotel and the non air-conned no frills lobby, they were a bit hesitant. At the end of the stay, however, they were convinced that the hotel was a great deal. We also met several friends staying at the hotel. The only thing that went wrong was that my parents toilet clogged, which was taken care of promptly.

We booked the Ankor Pearl via AirAsia flight and hotel (deluxe doubleroom) at a ridiculously low rate (somewhat 14$ per night) for a 3 night stopover to see the amazing temples of Ankor.
We used the hotels pick-up service from the Airport (emailed them 2 weeks before we went there). The Tuk-Tuk already waited for us at the airport and our extremly friendly and helpful driver took care about our luggage and brought us to the hotel. The Room there was absolutely clean, really big and comfortable with a good A/C and especially the kingsize bed was huge! The bathroom was also perfectly clean with a big shower and everything you need. The breakfast didn´t offer a big variety but everything was tasty and fresh and absolutely ok to start the day. The staff was extremely friendly and polite and helped us perfectly organising our trip to Ankor with a lokal guide and our tuk-tuk driver exclusively for us for the whole time in the temples.

All in all the stay at the Ankor Pearl Hotel was perfect and I would definitely recommend this nice little Hotel to my friends!
