Booked with USD33/night at this hotel. Nice and big room with all the amenities. Staff was super friendly and the breakfast was absolutely nice. Specially thanks to our 'tuk tuk' driver Mr Thy for waiting us all the time. He is so nice and polite. Definitely recommend him for day trip around Siem Reap. With cheap price and excellent services provided, it is undeniable that this hotel is excellent.

Room Tip: Choose lower floor as there is no lift in the hotel

Stayed here while visiting the sites at Angko Wat did the 3 day/4 night mission to cram in as much as possible. Setup a deal with one of their contracted drivers, Mr. Thy [thytuktuk_tour@yahoo.com] and he was super friendly and able to get me to sites on time for sunrise when its really quiet and the busloads or Japanese/Russians aren't there yet. Hotel had good breakfast, and they arrange it to go if you tell them the evening before since you're leaving at 4am to catch sunrise at Angkor Wat or Ta Prohm [Tomb raider Temple]. Showers work well, bed was ok, wifi was actually pretty good most of the time I used it [Skype mostly]. All in all not bad, although there are more luxury options available. Decent walk to Pub St although that area was garbage, only a handful of decent resto/bars otherwise packed with scammers and wasted college kids from the MANY hostels nearby.

stayed here for 4 nights at the begining of june.
We were greeted with hot towels and a traditional chilled drink which had honey in it and someone to take our bags to the room (which was great as there is no lift and we were on the 4th floor)
The room was a good size, came with aircon and fridge and the bed was really comfy. The staff were very helpful, providing us with a map and making dinner reservations for us. The hotel also had its own tuktuk service which was handy for nipping into town for a $1 and going on a tour of angkor wat about $15 and the driver 'Mr Pov' supplied us with water from his cool box throughout the day.
The breakfast was buffet style and always had a good selection and varied daily with cereal, toast some kind of cake(tasted like a blueberry muffin) and fruit being a staple. One day was fried rice, bacon, beans, tempura veg and another it was kind of like a prawn toast, omlette, ham and mini croissants. There was always a few asian items and a few western ones too.
They also offered in room massages for $6 and had a room service menu which they offered until late. The only shame was they didnt have a pool which is probably why the hotel was such a good price for the standard, however they did have a deal with a hotel up the road whose pool you could use for $5 and you got a free beer but it was mostly in the shade and there were not many loungers/small area but it was low season so we were the only ones there.

Asked for a quiet room, but placed us next to a construction site.. Room was changed when we asked.

Free welcome drinks and tuk tuk transfer from airport made check in a breeze. Breakfast was meh. The food was served in large catering sized trays but was never even half full. Had to either wait for a new plate to come out or make do with the other food but even the food itself wasn't that good. I liked the coffee though. And the breakfast manager seemed really nice and attentive. He was always walking around, checking on stuff.

When we stayed there was a power outage at least every other night, at around 10pm, but the power came back on within ten minutes. In those ten minutes I heard all the staff scurrying about trying to get the power back up.

Keep your valuables locked up whenever you leave the room because you never know when the housekeeping manager decides to check on your room. We came back to our room after breakfast and there he was with his clipboard, not doing any housekeeping. Don't know what that was about but it happened on our last day there.

Like another reviewer, when I left, I smiled and accepted the krohma gift without pointing out these things because there was just too many to list. But hopefully, management will read these reviews and make some changes for the better.

Our family was attracted by the Angkor heritage to Siem Reap. We did not look for a luxury hotel but just a medium range hotel located near the city center for comfort and sight-seeing. Angkor Pearl Hotel proved to be a right fit for our expectation. We stayed there for 3 nights; with free car pick-up from the bus station as we came from Phnom Penh. We were received with well-mannered staff and offered drinks and cool towers. Complimentary 30-minute traditional Khmer massage was given after our rather tiresome Angkor Wat and surrounding temples tour. Very relaxing. The driver, Ben, who drove us to the hotel is a first class entertainer with his jokes - about his wife who was a cat before their marriage but turned a tigress after marriage! We were happy to hire him to lead us for the Angkor tour at a fair price for four. Worth your money, go for it!

Room Tip: We were at the first floor rooms with window view. Good enough as this hotel has no lift and higher...

Stayed at Angkor Pearl Hotel for two nights. Sent them an email to request for a free pick up and they responded in less than 24 hours to confirm our request. Room was very clean, wifi signal very strong, and the staff very polite and friendly. There was a variety of breakfast food choices which were all good. Speedy check-in with welcome drinks and hassle-free check out with free souvenirs. They also have affiliated tuktuk drivers who can speak English and are very helpful too. During our tour to the temples, we had Mr. Thet as our driver. Two thumbs up for him, no complaints at all. The only down side in our stay was the nightly power interruption, it didn't last for more than 20 minutes though and it wasn't the hotel's fault but a standby generator will be a plus. To sum it up, I would say that this hotel is highly recommendable.
