I think we had been spoilt by our experience in Phnom Penh with the Burly Guest House (@$US 7 per night with cable TV and fast wifi). The Mommy Guest House was $US 6 a night for a twin room with fan and cold water. There is wifi but it was really slow in the afternoon/evening but faster in the mornings.. The communal TV is situated in the garden seating area where guests can eat. We thought the food was over priced so ate at the local restaurants (and there are plenty of those!). The Mommy Guest House is situated in a side street so it is a quiet location and there is always someone around. If I were to return to Siem Reap, I wouldn't stay at Mommy's.
