Great location. Just a stone's throw away from the bustling pub street, but far enough to be able to stay in peace. Courteous staff, good rooms and great ambience. This is the place you'd want to stay if you have a mid-range budget.

My son and I enjoyed a wonderful experience at the Frangipani Villa Siem Reap. The Cambodian hospitality was overwelming and we made lots of new friends with the staff at this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable and the service was efficient and always delivered with a smile. We stayed for nearly 2 weeks and we felt totally relaxed and happy at our home away from home.

Disappointing start as room booked was occupied. Replacement room was a suite upgrade but really just two rooms with concrete floors and basic fittings.
The staff were very friendly and helpful including arranging tuk tuk from airport (free) and again for day at Angkor Wat for $15. They also told us where to go and helped with restaurant bookings.
Quiet location and nice pool, also fairly central so you can walk everywhere.

We booked trough there site a 4 day stay at the hotel. The website states that a normal double room is 40$ a night. When i booked i saw i was paying 60$/night, i tought i was paying for a deluxe with poolview, witch according to the website is 60$/night. Arrived we got a normal room and when we went to ask why we paid 60$/night they stated that the 40 $ were exl. Vat and taxes. When i mentioned that 20$ taxes was a whole lot there was no straight up answer... eventually they stated that the prices should be adjusted on the internet... untill now they still arent.. so be ware!! So mangement if you are reading this: change your online prices! It just isnt straight forward... :-)
Otherwise our stay was good! Room was ok clean, enough fresh towels, nice staff. Our top was the breakfast! Plenty of fresh fruits, nice bread, good coffee and yummie scrambled eggs!
Room for improvement: only two ligts in the whole room and two sockets (one beeing used for a bedside lamp).

Overal a good hotel but for me not worth the top choise in lonely planet...

Had a very relaxing stay at this hotel. Good food, very clean and very hospitable staff. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast sufficient and delicious. Loved the decor, had a very indigenous feel to it. The staff pay a lot of attention to detail and we liked the ambiance of the place especially the local musician in the lobby who adds to the relaxing atmosphere of the place. The swimming pool a big plus point.

we stayed in Frangipani in Siem Reap, and it's really wonderful stay for 5 days. The hotel arranged for our tour as well and the staffs were courteous and warm to help the visitors.
We got a room, which is swimming pool facing, and it's really good.
The room is clean and everyday the room is well cleaned and freshens with flowers in our bed.
The bathroom was good, spacious and clean. The amenities were well placed and the room is well maintained. The hotel didn't have elevators, but staffs helped us with our luggage all the time.
The stay was excellent with good hospitality and cleanliness.
We used swimming pool, but the water was bit saline.
Sumptuous breakfast adorned our stay and the tasty breakfast was absolutely fulfilling in most of the available styles including continental, Indian, English, etc.
Loved the place and look forward to come back again.
