We stayed here for 3 nights for part of our honeymoon in March. The hotel and staff were pretty nice, the location in town was fairly convenient and we could walk just about everywhere, but a few issues made me feel like we overpaid--Lonely Planet described this place as a "splurge" but I think we overpaid for an average hotel.
*The Deluxe Pool-view room was quite nice, clean, and very spacious.
*Onsite restaurant had a varied and well-staffed breakfast, and the menu for lunch/dinner was well-rounded with Western and local dishes.
*Nice pool area with a whirlpool, lounge chairs, towels, and umbrellas.
*Check-in process was relatively quick and included a tasty welcome drink.
*WiFi in the common areas was strong, but the WiFi signal in our room was extremely weak.
*Laundry in the hotel was per item, not by weight, which ended up being wildly expensive.
*The bathrooms are a little industrial feeling (gray stone) and the shower tub was difficult to get in an out of (very high off the ground).
*The in-room lock box was an old-school lock and key, rather than an electronic one.
*Minibar included water, limited beer, and a few sodas, nothing fancy.
*The hotel seemed to be doing maintenance (painting, cleaning, fixing the elevator) constantly, which was a little annoying
I'd likely stay here again if we came back to Siem Reap, but I wouldn't shell out extra for the nicer rooms, and I'd get my laundry done somewhere else besides the hotel service.
