Owner description: KHMER WAYS MOTO ADVENTURES - Discover Cambodia by Moto. We strongly believe that the best way to discover a country is the way of the locals. In Cambodia the Khmers' major means of transportation is by moto (Honda Dream 125cc), enabling them and us to reach the remote beauties of the real Cambodia. Join us to follow the Khmers on their trails through rice fields, bamboo groves and jungle towards hidden villages, ancient temples and breathtaking views.

It really isn't! This company deserves many more!

Initial contact with Benny was easy with prompt replies in arranging our trip and clearing up any queries I had.

We took the 8 hour Beng Mealea trip which was one of my most memorable experiences in Cambodia, in fact, anywhere in the world! We were collected from our hotel on time and taken out of the city. Our guide Chan gave us clear instruction on how to use the moto since I hadn't ridden one with gears yet, we got a practice run up the road then we were off! Through villages and countryside, a little off road occasionally but nothing hair raising and at your own pace. Chan told us when to slow down and watch out for chickens, dogs and kids. We stopped for a few rest and photo breaks on the way and were supplied with plenty of bottled drinking water.
Chan was also a great guide at the temple, telling us stories from the past and taking us up and over and under various levels and ruins. Lunch was included in the price of the tour.

I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again if in Siem Reap - they were outstanding.

“100% perfect”
Reviewed 23 October 2013

I've done two Khmer Ways tours. The first was to Beng Melea with two friends who had never been on a moto before; we all loved it and the guides were very patient with teaching us all how to ride, which gears to use and giving us signals for when to slow down and take care.
The second ride I did was with my dad, who used to ride motorbikes 30 years ago. We chose to do the half day tour and I was thrilled that like the full-day tour the route took us through villages, to a remote temple, and over rickety bridges, down sandy tracks, and between lush rice paddies.

On both trips we were never without cold water and had plenty of drink and snack breaks. All of the guides speak excellent English and know the area and the history well.

This is one of the best ways to see the countryside which lies just beyond your Siem Reap hotel. Excellent value for money too.

“Into the country!”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

Just outside Siem Reap is the most exquisite countryside. At very short notice Khmer Ways provided us with an amazing experience of country life close to Siem Reap, with beautiful Cambodian scenery, temples, villages and friendly locals.
Rong, our guide spoke good English and ensured we were competent before setting out (did not take long). He kept an eye on how we were doing with good warning on what was coming up ahead, always ready for photo stops. Great to have someone to ask about local life as well. Brilliant and exhilarating couple of hours!

“Highly Recommended”
Reviewed 22 October 2013

We were discussing a plan for our three days in Siem Reap with the staff at the Frangipani Hotel, and we were recommended to Khmer Ways tours, and it turned out to be the best experience of our trip.
Chan, our guide was a knowledgable, friendly Cambodian who discussed the history of his family, the local villages and the temples around Siem Reap.
The bikes were easy to ride, and the day took us through some small villages - where the local children rushed out to greet us as we rode through via a mixture of paved roads, and dirt tracks - all the way to the magnificent Beng Mealea.
Lunch and drinks were provided, as well as entry to the temple.
This is a highly recommended day out.

“Simply outstanding.our highlight in Siem Reap, and probably yours !!”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

We are a family of 5, 3 'kids' 21,19 & 14 none of whom had any experience riding motobikes. Picked up by our guides early one morning and taken to a side street for the 3 min 'H&S briefing', and we were off, along a main road then into the back roads, dirt tracks and a wonderful world of the real Cambodia.A day of endless smiling faces, children running out to wave and 'high five'- it really was a soul lifting even humbling journey through countryside that, not too many years ago was ravaged by the Knmer Rouge leaving broken families and land mine strewn fields
Lunch on a a deck on stilts on a lake which was relaxing and a great spread of food, then off again long more dirt tracks over small wooden bridges and trying to avoid livestock laying in the roads.

It ended far too soon but will live a very long time in all our minds- at the end of 3 wks in Cambodia and Thailand this is one of 3 very clear standout days ( Angkor Wat and pataya elephant farm Chiang Mai the other two- don't bother with other elephant " experiences" - this is by far the best)
