My friends and I had a wonderful time at the 3 bedroom apartment. The location was great, the apartment spacious and clean. We especially loved the staff whom were very helpful and friendly. A few things could be improved - the massage ladies were not up to par and the restaurant had some service issues. The food ordered was unavailable but we were only informed after waiting for a while - this happened a couple of times. Otherwise, the rating would have been 'excellent !!'. Overall the holiday experience was very good and I would definitely recommend it for travellers looking for apartment-type accommodation.

Thank you very much for your comments.

We would like to apologise once again for the spa and restaurant experience. Communication was definitely an issue and we are already working on a training to prevent situations like that to happen again. It's honest comments from our guests that help us to improve and get better everyday.

Regarding the spa, we already have a new contract with a renowned company that its highly qualified. We know you are an expert in this field and w can guarantee you that next time you wont be disappointed.

We look forward to seeing you again in our hotels.

Great hotel, location and service. Kim Ren in particular was very helpful, going out of his way to help us. Walking distance to the night market and easy to relax after a long day of temple visits! Recommend this hotel to anyone visiting siem reap.

Clean, affordable, great location: not far from town and not too close at the same time. Quiet place, very good food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Excellent and friendly staff and nice decoration. I stayed there always and never regret!

Stayed here solo upon arriving in SR. Before i even checked in thenhotel had arranged my airport pick up (not free) and my shuttle bus to Phnom Penh, everything went smoothly making getting to the capital a lot easier. It is across the river so in a quiet location. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant alone is worth checking in for. So calming, the whole staff were so friendly.

Room Tip: The rooms are actually quite close to the street, but treaffic is spare so its ok.

we book a room at the retreat residence for our short trip to Siam Reap back in april and i must say we make the right choice. a wonderful little place with a nice mixture of the old building which houses the restaurant whilst the rooms are in the colonial building.. white with classic simple design that blends very well. Lovely bed that you will be thankful after a day out in the sun. Staffs are extremely thoughtful & helpful throughout our stay as we were only 2 girls travelling.
The retreat is situated on a quiet street off the main road so it is very peaceful yet close enough to the happening place of the night market & the pub street also not forgetting to adventures by foot or by the motor taxi. We love it there and had a wonderful relaxation by the rooftop pool after our trip to the temples.. just simply relaxing on the sunbed with snacks while watching the rain come down with a bottle of beer:- awesome!.

Room Tip: rooms in the colonial building is nice

Dancing around Agoda I found a great deal for this charming guest house. Perfect location, fantastic staff, pleasant rooms, and the roof to swimming pool offers welcome respite from wherever you have been dragging yourself.
Only downsides - ridiculous laundry prices (don't worry there is a cheap express laundry nearby) and the complete absence of a minibar (so also impossible to keep water chilled in the room).
Anyway, you will not be disappointed.

I stayed at this property last week for 3 nights (2 more nights at another resort but wish I had stayed here for the whole 5 nights :(

+
Super friendly and efficient staff who share a real enthusiasm for making your stay perfect. Great guest relations/helpful with info on local area/tours etc
Tasty/well prepared food and drinks which are very nicely presented. I only really ate breakfasts here as there was so much choice in town to eat out but I would love to sample lunch or dinner here next time
Superb location...just on the perimeter of being out of the town but also in on the action
Clean/large rooms and good housekeeping service/authentic decor
Allowed me to have a late check out as I was out on a tour from 5am-3pm. They let me keep my room on so that I did not have to check out at 5am
Lovely small pool area that is a welcome haven for cooling off after a long hot day of sightseeing
Felt super safe and secure despite my room backing on to a road/alley way

-
Uneven/slippery step leading in to the pool (I had to dig deep to find this one point needing improvement but it would be dangerous for some as it was slippery/uneven and easy to lose balance on)

I was really sad to leave this property and its lovely staff. I will be recommending to all my friends to stay her on future visits to SM. I will be back there like a shot

Give it a go! You will not be disappointed :)

Room Tip: Rooms are spacious. I got an upgrade to a larger room (Rm 5)
