4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

We like the room, big and clean, would be nice to have a small Fridge in the room.
When I booked the room, i though breakfast and airport transportation was included... Would have been nice that was a bit more clearly stated when booking was made. Over all, a good stay !

Room Tip: upstair room is better

I stayed here for a night because I had another reservation at Viroth Hotel. Both of these hotels were amazingly beautiful. Viroth was all booked so they told me to stay at this hotel.
The hotel is walking distance to day / night market on pub street where all the restaurants and bars were.
Quiet area, beds were so comfy, modern lay out with nice balconies / terrace.
The staff were so friendly, always with great smile, polite and kind from the reception to the restaurant.
Cambodian food is one of the best....so good. The restaurant they have was really really good.
They also have a nice roof top pool. And I didnt have plans to do a quad moto and they asked me if I wanted to do it. Which I did....It was such an amazing experience going around the rice fields and watching the sunset. I love Cambodia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! such a beautiful country !!!!!!!!!

Simple boutique hotel. Staff very friendly, good breakfast (from 6am to 10am). The restaurant offers nice choices of organic food. The location is indeed a asset, only 5 min walking from pub street. Bike rental service available.

Room Tip: Second floor balconies are the best choice, as the ground floor rooms are just facing the street and...

We were very happy with our choice of this hotel. We had a three bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. It is across the street to the actual hotel and it's lovely little restaurant where the breakfast was served. It took abt 10 minutes to walk to the centre. From the balcony one could see the river and a temple. Another balcony was with an outside washing machine that worked well and was in a lot of use as it was convenient to was jogging and yoga clothes ourselves. Nearby is a cute Peace Cafe - perfect for a quick bite or a lunch.

Stayed here for 6 nights. The first night on my own. (Felt secure)
The location is superb. Walk to Pub street and the Old Market in under 10 mins or us$1 per tuk tuk! Supermarket across the bridge and left. Plenty of cash machines.
Spoilt for choice for places to eat and the hotels own restaurant Taberu is very good. I think happy hour could be promoted better though. It's not a massive food menu but everything I tried was hot, freshly cooked and very tasty.
The breakfast was a la carte - perfect
2 swimming pools, 1 in each building - good for a dip and plenty of sun.
We had a 1 bedroom apartment with a very useful and efficient washing machine. We were on the 1st floor overlooking the road and also the river. We thought it might get noisy but it wasn't a problem. The apartment is a good size, nice bathroom and a low hard bed. (We slept well) It could be improved with a bedside lamp each and more hanging space for wet clothes. Plus larger / better quality soap in the bathroom.
A sign to let the cleaners know "do not disturb" would be useful.
The staff were especially helpful arranging tours, (us$8 for a short tour of Angkor Wat, just 15 mins up the road), airport transfer in oldfashioned car us$15) explaining food options and helping when my husband needed an out of hours doctor for example. Nai and Sara were particularly helpful.
We had a few issues with wifi, water and power outage during the stay but these could have happened anywhere. Staff and management sorted efficiently and kept us up to date.
It's a good 3 star.
I would definitely recommend and return.

Our tour operators described this as "medium" in our schedule and we came here from a First Class hotel in Hue.
We loved the small boutique atmosphere, Garden Cottage rooms were charming, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable.
It was in our view better than "medium".
Thanks for looking after us.
