“Big rooms, Big smiles”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2013

This boutique hotel has large & spacious rooms. The housekeeping staff cleaned & freshened up the rooms each morning the moment you go out. When you come back mid-afternoon after having walked & climbed countless temples under the hot sun, the room would have been made up & smelled of oranges. The pool was such a relaxing treat too.

Breakfast was very basic but the homemade yogurt needs special mention. The plain yogurt came in quaint little bottles and it wasn't so sour & had the right sweetness. You'd have to have 2!

Booking directly with the hotel comes with complementary tuk tuk for each day of your stay. Our driver, Mr. Phan gave us a good first impression of Cambodia & it's beautiful people. He was very courteous, attentive, gave insightful information, was flexible with our itinerary since the weather was unpredictable, and overall very professional. I'd make sure to hire Mr. Phan if ever I go back.

My husband and I stayed here on the first leg of our trip to Cambodia and Vietnam.
From the time we arrived the staff could not do enough to help up us and always with a smile.
The room was spacious with a large bathroom and bath and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The saltwater pool was very soft and warm and a wonderful relief after visiting the temples. Breakfast is on the top floor with plenty of choice with a lovely cool breeze and view.
The hotel is too far from the centre of town to walk but there is always a friendly tuk-tuk outside and it is just a 5 minute ride.

We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I spent two nights in this hotel and found everything to our liking. Located off the main road on a quiet, deadend side street, there was absolutely no traffic, so all was quiet and peaceful. The staff was outstanding and assisted us with all our needs. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The buffet breakfast was a bit more limited than others we had experienced, but there was still plenty of good food to choose from. The pool was particularly refreshing for a cool down from the hot, humid climate. The weeping wall at the pool provided a nice shower effect that I enjoyed standing under. In the evening, the hotel provided a complementary tuk tuk ride to the city center where we could enjoy the local eateries.

We thoroughly enjoyed the accomdations of this hotel, could find nothing to complain about, and only wish we had been able to stay longer. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Some ground level rooms have a patio area at the pool.

A beautiful design, simple but neatly done room that opens to the majestic pool. The hotel is located just 5 mn by tuk-tuk from the central area with all restaurant, therefore quiet. You cannot walk to downtown.
The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and always available at all times.
The room comes with an assigned tuk-tuk driver that takes you everywhere you want - a wonderful experience I recommend.

We stayed here for 7 nights and from the time we walked in everything was spot on. The staff were all so helpful and friendly and we wish we could have stayed longer. Rooms were great with the best hot water shower we have come across in our travels. The pool was an absolute blessing after trudging around all day. It was a beautiful saltwater pool so not over chlorinated like a lot of the others.
The restaurant on the top floor was beautiful overlooking the surrounding area with exceptional staff especially one in particular who made our stay even more special (they know who they are)
Great variety for breakfast and nothing is too much trouble. I think we also had lunch here 4 days out of 7.
Also one free Tuk Tuk trip to town a day and if you need a Tuk Tuk for the full day it will cost $15
Thank you once again and we'll see you next year :-)

Room Tip: Any room at Siddharta is a good room

After much traveling, staying at the Siddharta was a wonderful luxury. Although more expensive than some other places we stayed, it was a good deal for what you get - which is pretty much flawless. The staff was lovely, as are so many of the Cambodian people. The hotel beautiful. Great pool; very good restaurant; gorgeous, big room; comfie beds; free tuk-tuk service. Had a really nice massage. Overall a really good experience that we highly recommend.

Our group of 4 stayed 4 nights at Siddharta in mid May 2013. We booked directly with the hotel and therefore was able to enjoy the tuk tuk with a driver for 4 days as part of the hotel package. From the time we arrived at this small but neatly and cozily decorated hotel, we felt very much at home. We stayed at room 205 which is 2 rooms interconnected - one room has a queen size bed and the other room has a queen size plus a single bed (therefore room 205 could take up to 5 pax). The room is very spacious , very clean, bathroom is basic. The salt water pool is a nice way to unwind. Breakfast spread is basic with an egg station and plenty of local fruits provided. We tried the in-house spa, service and price both good and it's convenient after a long day of walking. Had lunch at the restaurant once, food and price both good. The location of hotel is great as it is less than 10 mins to Angkor Wat and 10 mins to town. Having the hotel provided tuk tuk and a driver made our travelling around Siem Reap so much easier. We paid extra (very reasonable cost) for an upgrade from tuk tuk to air-con van with a tour guide for a full day when we travelled much further out to Banteay Srei and other temples. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very fluent in english. The fantastic staff at the hotel reception (special thanks to Sonya) are always very friendly, helpful, patient, and totally dependable to help us make all tour arrangements and restaurant reservations. We have nothing negative to say about Siddharta. Thanks to Siddharta and the staff for making our stay a memorable one! Highly recommend!
