“Good hotel, not a great location”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

Siddharta has very large bedrooms with outdoor seating overlooking a nice swimming pool.
Very good breakfast, serves lunch & dinner also. Staff are attentive and responsive to requests.
Nice open air bar area with comfortable relaxed seating areas and ceiling fans.
The cocktails only vaguely resembled what they should taste like, however they were cheap and perfectly enjoyable.
Only "con" is the location - you are quite a distance from town, more than comfortable walking distance in my opinion. This is mitigated by the offer of a free tuk tuk at your service between sunrise and 10pm. we used it extensively during the days spent there, however we found it a little inconvenient if you just wanted to pop into town for something and/or dinner etc.

This is the place to stay in Siem Reap. Great location and over the top service. It's a bit pricy for the area, but well worth it. They provide a great breakfast in the morning and also provide your own personal Tuk-Tuk driver for the length your stay (same driver every day). The front desk staff all speak English and are happy to arrange other services (in our case, taxi to Poipet) for you. Nice "base camp" for exploring the temples around Siem Reap.

The Siddharta Boutique Hotel is a hidden jem. We stayed there twice in July. The hotel is tucked off the main road. It is close to the Angkor Archeological site and just minutes from the old town. It has one of the most charming and accommodating staffs the we have ever experienced anywhere.

The yummy restaurant is on the roof as is the sitting area for lovely views of the sunsets. The pool is delightful and inviting. The rooms are spotless with good air conditioning and all the amenities, The mattress is very firm! After a long day of exploring we really looked forward to coming home to our hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are excellent. Ground floor rooms have easy access to the pool.

We enjoyed all this hotel had to offer...the grounds are well maintained. The rooms and infinity pool is clean. Could not say enough nice things about the staff. After a long day of walking and hiking the temples we ate at the restaurant on site and it was better then what we had in town

We made our trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by car, this took 6 long hours, on the plus we managed to see the country side.
We were very pleased on the location of the hotel in a quiet side road with little traffic or noise. We loved the ambience of the garden and pool the staff spoke very good English and were very friendly and helpful even organising our flights back to the Capital.
The had a tuk tuk and driver allocated for us for the duration of our stay, this was great and completely unexpected, our driver spoke good English and was courteous and friendly.
Our room was very comfortable and we loved the roof top. Breakfast could do with a little improvement with the choices.

Great hotel in a not too busy stretch just between Angkor and Siem Reap. A new hotel with everything: swimming pool, restaurant, spa & massage, drivers & tour arrangement, etc. And all come with reasonable price.

The hotel and pool were wonderful. Very peaceful to come back to after a day of exploring. The staff is so great and helpful. Traveling alone with two teens, customer service is critical! The staff goes out of their way to help
