We stayed here two nights, three days. Very accommodating staff. They speak English, and do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. I booked thru their Web site. Included in the price; airport pick up, two full days of tuk tuk service, breakfast every morning (excellent hot breakfast), pool. really a good choice in siem reap. I'd stay here again

An excellent stay. We were there as two families of three. We found the experience very friendly with very helpful and charming staff. A very pleasant experience in comparison to the large hotel chains. It has a lovely pool and a very pleasant roof top restaurant. The rooms were comfortable. We found it good value for money. The TukTuk included in the rate was a useful addition for getting about.

Fantastic 4 days at the Siddharta. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Fabulous breakfasts and super relaxing massages at great prices. Our personal tuk tuk for the duration of our stay was a real bonus, in a sea of tuk tuks, he would always seek us out. A very child friendly and family-orientated hotel. Couldn't recommend it enough.

This hotel, built round a courtyard and swimming pool, offers good accommodation in an attractive setting at a very reasonable price. The top floor has a pleasant restaurant and bar. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel offers free local transport by tuk tuk to guests who book direct, as we did. Although it is cooler in November, when we visited, than in the summer, it is still very hot in the middle of the day. For $15 per day we were able to upgrade our free tuk-tuk to a car and, for a further $25 per day, to hire an English-speaking guide (we were told that the guide fee is laid down by the government, and that it was about to increase to $35 per day).

Having a car made it easier for us to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park for two shorter visits each day, returning to the hotel for a few hours during the hottest time of the day. Besides avoiding the worst of the heat, we also felt that a midday break (during which we could look at our pictures of the temples we had been to) made it easier for us to remember what we had seen at each temple. If we had gone directly from temple to temple all day, we would probably not have remembered one from next.

This is a bit belated, but wanted to leave a review for Siddharta. This is not an Anan, or the Park Hyatt. Be realistic. If you want a place like that, this is not the place for you. But if you want a nice boutique hotel, with good service, good food, in a convenient location to Angkor, this is a great bet. It is reasonably priced, clean, with surprisingly good food and excellent croissants. I'd go back just for the croissants. The tuk-tuk driver that comes with the room was great for us (2 girls in their 20's) and took great care of us with water, etc the whole time. The pool is excellent, and the lime juice is delicious. The receptionists helped us to book a car to Battambang. No, there is not luxury shampoo or absolutely no bugs (come on, it's Cambodia). However, it's charming, clean, and nicely out of the noisy part of Siem Reap.
