this is a good value hotel, very clean and the staff are very helpful. the only downside is it's about 10 minutes from the amenities and restaurants etc, the breakfast is excellent. notwithstanding this the hotel offers you a free tuc-tuc.

Room Tip: this hotel is good value for money and had a loverly swimming pool and spa

The garden is lovely, pool a great place relax, small hotel with large rooms- we had a family suite and it was ideal. Service was superb, our driver was kind and reliable and willing to find unique locations for us! The location is on the end of the city for temple visits too.

We stayed here for three days, booked our own tuk-tuk and guide for the temples. Thus we got up early, had a quick breakfast and were back at the hotel at 3 pm for a little cooldown at the pool. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff is charming and very helpful. So they get 5 points though there are more exclusive or centrally located places in town. But for the money this place is definitely worth a strong recommendation!

My second stay here and I love it!
Perfect spot if you want a few days to relax and enjoy a rest with nice massages, short walks, lovely pool area and nice meals. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is situated a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from the main part of town, however the hotel has its own tuk tuk drivers, who are known to them and can be booked as a combination package with the room rate.
This is a great idea, especially for the first time visitor, as it avoids any issues negotiating prices and tours.
I booked the Phare show via the hotel and all went well. A must see thing to you if you stay here as it is situated close to the hotel.
The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. The hotel is decorated very tastefully, with historic photographs and local artifacts. The sitting areas attached to each room gives a lovely outdoor feeling and extension to the room. Rooms are exactly as on the website.
The restaurant area on top floor is a lovely area to have a drink and watch the sunset!
Highly recommend is you wish to be slightly away from the main town area. The hotel is suitable for all age groups as their is a lift in the building.
A most enjoyable stay !

Stayed her for 3 nights at end of our Vietnam Cambodia tour. Lovely hotel, all staff so friendly and helpful, always smiling, nothing too much trouble.
Room lovely and very large, stayed in deluxe on first floor.
Restaurant and bar on 3rd floor - breakfast was good, variety of foods/fruit and eggs cooked fresh.
Pool very nice after a long day around temples and Angkor Wat! Very relaxing and peaceful.
Tuk tuks always out side to go into town and very cheap.
Lovely Khmer massage, very good value.
Would certainly recommend and not hesitate to stay again.

This hotel will not disappoint. Chose the hotel based on recommendations from Tripadvisor and Agoda. We stayed for two nights and will definitely stay here again when we are back in Siem Reap. Your get your own personal Tuk Tuk driver which is a great touch. The breakfast is plentiful and the staff always great you with a smile. The hotel is great for those who want to chill around the peaceful pool or use it as a base to see Angkor Wat and the other temples in the area. If you want to be within walking distance of Pub street then you'll need to choose a different hotel. That being said, it's only a 5-10 minute $2 Tuk Tuk drive away.

During our stay we had some laundry done under the assumption that it was a free service. When we were presented with the bill as we were checking out we explained to the receptionist that we thought the laundry service was free based on the explanation we were given when we checked in. Although the amount was only $10 the receptionist was very courteous and understanding and she told us that she would remove the charge from our bill due to the misunderstanding. I wrote to the manager of the hotel to praise the receptionist for her handling of the situation and he responded by saying that their goal is to make all of their customers happy during their visit and they will do what they need to to make that happen. That was top class service.

You will not regret staying at the Siddharta Boutique Hotel!

Coming from the White Mansion Hotel in Pnomh Penh, which was superb, I didn't really think much of the approach to the hotel, unmade road and an open area reception and first impressions were a bit disappointing. This didn't improve when entering the room. Large and spacious but very basic in decor. Furniture with no real use and as usual no socket near a mirror. The worse problem, however was the smell in the bathroom of drains, not very pleasant at all. We told the management, who eventually, after some ' discussion' moved us the next day to a similar room. This was a bit of a nuisance but at least we didn't have the overpowering smell although we did get a waft every now and then. The worse thing was that they knew about it!
They did give us a free massage to compensate.
On the positive side, the pool is lovely with great vegetation and flowers around it and if you have a ground floor room you get a swing chair and sun beds directly outside your room. Restaurant is nice with charming staff and good basic food. Not haute cuisine but very pleasant. Also inexpensive. Breakfast is also good buffet style, fresh fruits, croissants and eggs to order.
Khmer massage was nice but not for anyone who doesn't like a good pummelling!. Tuk tuks are waiting outside the hotel and very cheap into town which is about ten minutes away.
I was expecting a bit more of an upmarket hotel after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Generally it is a little shabby in places like the lifts. This hotel could be excellent with the problems with drainage being sorted out and a bit more attention to detail and decor in the rooms

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room facing the pool.
