“A Gem - Look No Further!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2014

If you are planning a trip to Siem Reap and trying to find the right place to stay, look no further than this hotel. I can't say enough good things about this hotel - everything exceeded my expectations.

The most stand out quality was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I have never encountered a more attentive staff than at the Siddhartha Hotel. I always felt like they were happy to see me and happy to be there. It truly put any American hotel staff to shame.

The room we had was clean and spacious. I also loved how we had our own outdoor seating area. They also refreshed our tea every day (be careful, the cups get hot!) The pool was a great place to get some relaxation after a long day at the temples. It was a quiet and peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. The entire hotel is very well kept with flowers, trees, and statues everywhere. Oh, and you can eat breakfast outside every morning, which I loved!
This hotel is about a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride away from Pub Street, which was nice. Still very easy to access.

When we went, we had a Tuk Tuk driver for all three days we were there, and he was an amazing driver. I was sad to leave him when we left! He worked with our schedule and was so kind. We were always greeted with a smile. Our first day we asked him to take us for a drive through Siem Reap and he pointed out some things to us. He also knew of every place that we wanted to go to! He only worked until 10:00pm, so on the nights we knew we would be out late, we gave him the rest of the night off, which he was very grateful for. When he took us to the temples, he gave us some background on each of them...we also never got lost. Unfortunately, I can not remember his name, but I did provide a picture below, so if you go, definitely request that he is your driver! You won't be disappointed. We both felt like we made a new friend. Oh, and don't forget to tip =)

My husband and I stayed in six hotels on our Asian trip and this hotel was our favorite. So relaxing to come back to after touring the temples. Good size room with lovely private area to sit outside each room. Pool area also nice and peaceful and beautifully kept. Breakfast very nice and evening meal also lovely. Staff very friendly, helpful and polite. Tuk tuk outside door to take you into bustling Siam Reap for great night markets for $2. Would return here and would recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights in March 2014. It was very hot and humid so the pool was a great spot to start and end the day. Breakfasts were both very good and generous. Hotel location is between town centre and the temples so is very convenient. Complimentary tuk tuks are a great service if staying out of town is an issue but it only takes a few minutes to get to town centre. Room was very comfortable and clean and hotel staff very helpful.

This is a small hotel with lots of character, the rooms are well appointed and spacious. The pool and gardens are a delightful place to relax and we really loved the fact that we had sun beds on our patio. The roof top restaurant and bar offers some excellent views over Siem Reap, the food is good and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent but we were very unimpressed with the packed breakfast we got one morning. Although the hotel is a little way out of the town there is no trouble getting a tuc-tuc - I think it represents very good value for money.

We stayed here for three days. Very peaceful to come back to after a day of exploring. The staff is so great and helpful. Traveling alone with two teens, customer service is critical! The staff goes out of their way to help

this is a good value hotel, very clean and the staff are very helpful. the only downside is it's about 10 minutes from the amenities and restaurants etc, the breakfast is excellent. notwithstanding this the hotel offers you a free tuc-tuc.

Room Tip: this hotel is good value for money and had a loverly swimming pool and spa

The garden is lovely, pool a great place relax, small hotel with large rooms- we had a family suite and it was ideal. Service was superb, our driver was kind and reliable and willing to find unique locations for us! The location is on the end of the city for temple visits too.
