Ok, here's the deal. The owner, Nini, is a great guy. His English is great, and he goes above and beyond to help you out while in Siem Reap. As well, his Tuk Tuk driver is the nicest guy and they're HONEST! What's great about this place is that even though it's a great value, the owner makes it worth your stay in Siem Reap. I was volunteering teaching English in a village an hour outside town, but stayed here on weekends for a month when I wasn't teaching. Nini made it worth my while. I normally don't feel the need to write reviews, but for this place, I recommend staying here. It's not right in the middle of Siem Reap, but honestly, you can walk everywhere, or worst case, take a $1 tuk tuk ride into the heart of Siem Reap. The rooms are very basic, but pretty clean and the beds were good for a good nights sleep. They have a pretty good menu for food as well, free wifi and/or a couple of computers to use for free as well. So, it's clean and safe, and a great value, and you'll have an owner who is a genuinely nice guy who loves to help out with your visit. I couldn't say anything bad about the place.

The rooms are quite basic, but spacious, and cheap! I enjoyed the friendly service. Free internet is a bonus.

I stayed in this guesthouse on and off for about a month whilst volunteering teaching English in a local village.

Nini, the owner, speaks very good English and is very knowledgeable about the area. He is happy to arrange tours, tuk-tuks, guides etc. for you but is equally happy to let you do your own thing if preferred.

As a budget backpacker I opted for one of their cheaper rooms at $3/night but was pleasantly surprised at what I got for my money: private room with double bed, furniture and a fan. A western shared bathroom with cold water shower was provided nearby and was all I required in the heat - I never understand why people want hot water in hot Asian countries?!

Also available in the guesthouse is free internet, tasty food, dvd and films to watch, two hang-out areas, quick and efficient laundry, and of course the pleasure of sharing the company of the family and local employees.

The staff are willing to go out of their way to help you and are always ready with a smile. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse.
