“Great grill”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 December 2013 via mobile

We popped in by chance as it's located on the central Pub Street and the grill looked enticing. The steak from grill was simply amazing. Tender and delicious. Highly recommended! The fish from grill was also very good. The only problem is that next door there is an EXTREMELY loud club, which spoils a bit the experience. The grill opens at 7 pm so maybe if you go early enough, you'll manage to avoid the rattle.

“Excellent Place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2013

My wife and I, we took our time in Siem Reap and stayed for few days to enjoy the town. Our best and friendliest place to eat was the Cambodian soup restaurant - we returned there a few times. The food is excellent and the service is fast and friendly. Do not miss out on the frog legs! They are excellent and fresh from the rice fields. Great after a days walking in Angkor, having a 50c beer and watching the passers by in Pub Street... yes, that is where it all happens.

“Warm and nice restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 December 2013 via mobile

After a long trip we walked around searching for a nice place to eat. The menu looked good, so we went in. Mr. Maes served us and he made our evening very enjoyable. He and Miss Abee were so friendly, funny and kind. The food was delicious. You can order a personal barbecue on your table. If you're in siem reap you really should visit Cambodian Soup. Special thanks to Mr. Maes and Miss Abee.

“Good food but pathetic service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 December 2013

The food here was delicious: grilled eggplant with shredded pork on it, and a dish of cashewnuts stir-fried with meat and veggies. But the lady who took our order was weird. She almost seemed to be on something - looked vague (not because of any problem with English), repeated the order correctly but then went away and messed up everything. Result: my friend got his drink and I got my food. Half and hour and many complaints later, he got his food and I got my drink! Attempts to order a second drink and/or dessert just failed - she would sail past as if we didn't exist. The other servers understood our problem but seemed to be scared of her. We did however convince them to get the bill, which we paid without any tip.

“Lovely”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 November 2013

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was all excellent. And a lovely atmosphere in this restaurant just off Pub Street. I'd definitely recommend this one for a nice meal.
