“Great Food, Lazy Staff”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 via mobile

The food here is really quite good (especially the Khmer curry) and the beer is very cheap but every time i've been here- 3 times now at different times of the day- the service has been really poor. Staff hang around in groups and chat instead of waiting tables. Don't go here if you're in a hurry!

“Great”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We ate here on our first night in Siem Reap, food we thought was good , value for money, staff where busy , so a few minutes wait was nothing as the end result was worth the wait.
Did not venture there the second night. And went elsewhere what a let down .
We went back to the restaurant the second time and again was not disappointed , and the place was packed a good omen

“Frustrating”
Reviewed 31 May 2014 via mobile

The service here was abysmal. After waiting long enough to consider going across the street (that would have been a wise choice in retrospect), my boyfriend had to ask someone to bring us a menu. Then we sat and sat and sat before my boyfriend finally had to go to the bar to order our food. When we had one spring roll left, someone finally decided to bring us silverware and napkins. Forget trying to have the bill brought over. My boyfriend went to the bar and paid and received an odd mix of USD and Cambodian money as change. As we walked out, a server chased us out saying we hadn't paid. We assured him we had, and he let it go.

The atmosphere sucks. The music from the club next door is so loud it shakes the whole place. Forget trying to have a conversation.

On the plus side, the spring rolls were good, and the chairs were comfy. But that's certainly not enough to bother going back.

“Touristy, but quite good”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Compared to the resto where my guide brought us for lunch, this place was a lot better, and cheaper too! (It's not as cheap as some really local restos I had the opportunity to dine in though) Comfy seats, though warm as it did not have airconditioning in that particular hot summer night . We had papaya salad, which was less spicy than its more known Thai style, we even ordered 1 whole frog, grilled, which was priced at $1. It tasted funny, obviously it was a "native, wild" frog. All 6 of us had different orders each, and we all liked what we ordered, tasting each other's food. The serving sizes also were good for its price (when compared with the one we had for lunch, which made me feel I got fooled for the lunch). I washed it down with a nice bottle of Angkor beer.

“Delicious delight ”

Eaten many meals beautiful western and Khmer foods provided. Fresh spring rolls my favourite recommendation. Staff very attentive. Right in the heart of vivacious pub street.
