Owner description: KKO has operated off-road tours to the Angkor Complex and the surrounding landscapes since 2011. Our Label OFF TRACK combines two enterprises with the common goal to help our NGO gain independence from fundraising and donations. Our offers consist of unique bicycle, motorbike and trekking tours with the idea to show the Cambodian culture, nature and local lifestyle off the beaten tracks. The OFF TRACK tours have a special range of full and half day tours in Angkor and Siem Reap. Discover the temples of Angkor, explore the countryside around Siem Reap, experience a true slice of Cambodian village life or follow remote paths through tropical forests. Your expense will not only present you with a once in a lifetime experience of Cambodian culture but at the same time supports a local school to continue providing free education to unprivileged children. All profits go directly to KKO’s educational and vocational training centre.

We went on a KKO countryside bike tour and were expertly guided by Ploy, a young Cambodian who is proud of his country and people and happy to share his insights with visitors. The company provided mountain bikes, helmets and transport to the countryside where we rode about 18 miles through villages, rice fields and country lanes to visiting temple ruins and people along the way. We enjoyed the tasty, simple Khmer noodle veggie soup at a villager local stall. Overall, the ride was fun to do and a nice chance to get a bit of exercise too.

We did the Angkor off road tour on the 17th of October. It was only me and my husband on the tour that day and it was excellent. We got to visit the Angkor site without seeing many tourists, taking very nice back roads. It was a bit challenging at times as the roads were a bit muddy but it was a lot of fun. We saw some locakl villages and rice plantations.
The tour lasted from 8.30 until 17.00 and the guide never pressured us to go quicker and really wanted us to have a good time. He was a very nice guy and we really enjoyed our day.
I would definitely recommend this tour and your money goes to a good cause.
We visited Angkor wat the next day as it is not included in the tour but got to see some remote temples with very few tourists.

It was raining the whole day while I took the tour. Some of the road turn muddy and flooded. We were brought to some 0 tourist temples in the forest (except for us of course), the rain adds another mysterious feeling to the temples. I don't mind cycling through the challenging and flooded course, but at some part it rains so heavily until I couldn't enjoy the view around.

If you're traveling in dry season, please take this tour. Not only you can escape the super crowded temples, but you can enjoy the ride in an easier way. The money you spent will be going to NGO, it's good to travel while contributing back to the local society.

After taking the KKO bike tours I also wanted to try the KKO trekking tour.
Destination is the east side of the mount kulen where we did not see ONE SINGLE tourist execpt from our group.
I love to get away from the crowds on vacation and this was for sure the best choice to do so.
The tour is aunique combination of trekking and moto-taxi tour with stops at great sites and very nice guides.
