“happy hour”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

Their fresh rolls were better than other restaurants. So-so with the tom yang. Tasty Khmer dishes. Not very attentive staffs though.Good value for money. Some dishes and drinks were discounted during happy hours.. Hooray for more food!

“Very good food and attentive staff”
Reviewed 13 March 2014 via mobile

Walked into this restaurant while trying to find an authentic Cambodian place to eat... Well, as most places on this strip, there were mostly westerns here...

The food was very good, we had the fish amok, banana flower salad, and Khmer chicken curry. We asked for additional chili and fish sauce. The atmosphere was really good, we sat outside while seeing the world walked by us... First time trying the banana flower salad, and we loved it!

We were happy with the service and first taste of Cambodian food in Seam Reap.

“What a find!”
Reviewed 7 March 2014

We ate here twice, dinner and lunch. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, the service is excellent, everything about it is excellent. It was very busy during both our visits, but we had no trouble getting a table. Drinks served promptly, as was the food. Ideal.

“Good food at a very reasonable price”
Reviewed 9 February 2014

We ate there twice. We got the traditional Thai food plus a beef brochette. Everything was good. The only thing we did not like was the deep fried spring rolls.Service was very good and the people were friendly.

“A stroke of good fortune!”
Reviewed 8 February 2014

I stumbled upon this place by accident. Making your way down the Alley around 7:30pm on a Saturday night without a reservation meant that I was turned away from every restaurant I wanted to eat at.

Walking around and perusing menus, I randomly came to stand before Traditional Khmer Food Restaurant. One table had just become free, so since I was starving I just went for it. Service wasn't necessarily quick, but the place was packed. Still, the waiting staff was friendly and attentive and my drinks always arrived promptly.

Went for the beef and vegetable skewers with steamed rice for only 5.75$ and the food was delicious. The setting is no different from all those Khmer restaurant on and around the Alley, so you might walk by this place and never know you missed it. But for tasty food at such cheap prices, I'll definitely be going back!
