“Wonderful in every way.”

From the first moment I was impressed. Early email communication to confirm booking and airport transfer was immediate and efficient. From arrival to the time I checked out I was treated with kindness, respect and professional service. I can only congratulate the staff and management on their service. The public spaces are well maintained and so relaxing and the pool offers respite although quite warm by the afternoon. The layout allows you to feel that you are the only one there. The restaurant offers good quality food at prices on par with restaurants in town and breakfast is more than adequate. Should you wish to go into town they provide complimentary tuk tuk and phone for pick up. The rooms are clean, huge, comfortable and bathrooms stylish. I was very impressed and wish them every success as they deserve it. I would definately return.

I had been forewarned that the location was off the beaten track, but I was still pleasantly surprised at the contrast between the road to the hotel and the Oasis that awaited inside.
The receptionist was excellent and explained all the amenities to us. Our room was fantastic, with a huge bathroom facility and lotus leaves awaited us in the hand washing sink. The room had a safe as well as a generous refrigerator. The restaurant was between the lobby and the pool. Meals were superb for both lunch and breakfast (we ate there twice each). The pool was very clean and warmed by nature. Towel pools were provided on the chaise lounges surrounding the pool, and poolside service was available. After a busy and hot day of site seeing and shopping, the rooms provided a quiet and comfortable sleep. The hotel was able to arrange tuk tuk and taxi service, to and from the airport (a real delight in itself) as well as arrange for tour guides as needed. Everything was accurately itemized on the final bill, which could be paid by credit card. For all occasions, the staff was incredibly friendly, spoke English well and were able to help for all of our needs. Siem Reap with its attractions such as Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap is an incredible place to visit, and the Moon Boutique Hotel is a terrific place to stay. We will be back!

Room Tip: All rooms are around the pool

My husband and I stayed here for one night as we extended our stay in Siem Reap and couldn't bear to stay at our existing hotel a moment longer. From the moment we arrived outside The Moon Boutique (rescued directly from our tuk-tuk!) we were given an excellent service.

The room was immaculate and beautifully presented.

The pool was a reasonable size with sunloungers, towels and beautifully surrounded by plants.

The restaurant was great, a good choice of food and drinks, all very tasty.

This hotel is located in a quiet part of the town, slightly away from the centre. The free tuk-tuk service was brilliant.

The reception organised our bus for us to Sihanoukville.

It is getting towards being expensive but you do generally get what you pay for in Cambodia.

Stay here if you can afford it, it's beautiful!

a bit out of town, but providing free tuk tuk service (mobile phone for pick up before 11pm) into town. staff is very friendly, and all the people working at the reception and the restaurant speak a good english. rooms are big and clean, but there is the main corridor in front of the windows, so no one actually opened them or the curtains. breakfast is really nice, it's served at the table (choice: continental, american, hot). the pool has a good size, and there are enough sunbeds. the hotel is a good choice if you want to relax besides visiting angkor. back to siem reap i'd book it again!

The most helpfull staff ever — they did all the bookings for us for transportation to the temples, for the bus to another destination next morning, even took as to the bus station early morning and also the tuk tuk to the main street is free. And the hotel is amazing — luxury bathroom, very nice pool surounded by banana trees and spacious rooms, and very affordable spa.

We got an excellent last minute rate on this hotel whilst travelling through VN and Cambodia. This was so cheap ($37 per night for 2 people) that we wondered what the catch was! It is a small, private boutique style hotel which is massively underrated in my eyes. Yes, the hotel is not in the centre of Siem Reap but it doesn't matter - there are tuk tuk drivers right outside the door for your use for free, and when you go out they give you a mobile phone so you can call them when you're ready to be picked up! The room was huge, the bathroom was amazing. Our bathtub was carved out of stone, it was beautiful. The staff were so helpful and when I had a problem with my bank card and subsequently booking flights the staff went out their way to call all the travel agents around to reserve us flights. Breakfast is huge and very good. They had some offers on massages so we went for a package - this wasn't great but it was very cheap. I'd recommend going for a body scrub/wrap/facial/nails style treatments rather than a massage as you may leave feeling a little sore! This is a very minor complaint in what otherwise was a lovely stay.
