This is one of those special places to stay.
One thing I will guarantee is that if you stay there once, you will return.
It's Magical.
The Khmer reputation is surpassed here.
If attitude determines altitude then, this resort will be flying high for a long time!
There is a traditional taste in the air. Your senses are alive with the smells and tastes.
The hospitality is second to none. Rooms are of a excellent standard. Exceptionally clean and decorated tastefully.
Although, the resort is close to the centre you do not suffer from any noise disturbances.
Overall it's just a pleasant place to be!

We stay 5 days in this hotel....EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT AND EXCELLENT........Nice and quiet 5 starts resort, a lot of greenery around....The traditional Cambodian place is the place to be during your visit to Angkor...Rooms are GREAT.
Super attention , every detail is taking in consideration, the staff is friendly and more than helpful...Everybody makes you feel home and welcome. The Manager Michael Lin takes the time to welcome each person....
Very good breakfast...We had an upstairs villa facing the pool...
We went in September...called rainy season and is the best time to go, less crowded ,and a little rain is good to refresh yourself during your visit to the ruins....Thanks for our wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Get the villas on second floor facing the pool....

Stayed in Sokhalay Resort during one of my biz trip. Loved it so much as it was a great place to relax after a long and tiring day outside.

It was as though I was on a holiday. It was peaceful and quiet , the service was good, the rooms are big and there was a big salt water pool where I cud relax in. There are 2 pools, an indoor pool and a outdoor pool.

No worries about getting around the villas as there are buggies available . You have an option to use the bicycle within the property as well. Really convenient ! How I wish I was on a real holiday.

Sokhalay is not very far from town. Tuk tuk Is easily available . Would recommend anyone to stay at this local 5 star property.

This tradional Cambodian resort is special because you can taste the real Cambodian culture, the hospitallity, the food, the staf and the relaxing anbiance. The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The garden and the pool are exciting. Location is good, not noisy. From the resort to the centre of Siem Reap its nice by bicycle or tuktuk.
When you go there, you come back!
