Quick background on me. I've been traveling Lao, Thailand and Cambodia for 15 months. This is my first review of a guesthouse and here is why. The breakfast; 2 cups of coffee, 2 or 3 bananas, toast with butter and jam, glass of orange juice and a great omelet. All for $1.50. The rooms are far above average for a budget hotel. I've booked for two months. Noise; a little if you consider birds chirping noise. There is NO bar noise, no monks or others chanting over loud speakers. And yet, there are cool bars and restaurants just seconds away.
And the best part of the Jasmine Garden Villa; the staff. Even better than the quality of everyones' English is the smiles that greet you upon every return. In summary; it's all about value and comfort and no place I've stayed can come close to the Jasmine Garden Villa. Good luck everyone. Hope this helps.
