“Worry free stay!”
Reviewed 9 October 2012

My fiance and I chose Siem Reap as the last leg of our tour. We had only 2 nights here at the Sunset Suite, though we should have stayed for 4 or 5. I admit I was a bit disappointed by the size of the room, but it may be because it was either too mosquito-ey or too hot to enjoy our bed on the balcony!

We were picked up at the airport by Sean and Mr Kea. Right away, Sean felt the urgency to organize our temple tours due to our short stay. We were set up with a very funny and knowledgeable tour-guide Nikay. We saw 4 interesting sites: Beng Melea (a bit further away but worth it), Angkor Wat, Angkor Tom and Ta Prohm. Nikay knew how to navigate through the sites to avoid the crowds and showed us the highlights. During the car rides, he also offered insights on recent Cambodian history, and other cultural details.

The hotel offers a picnic lunch and it was a welcome break from the sweltering temple tours. We had a private gazebo near the lake, and we had our private waiter. He was all smiles and genuinely hospitable.

Aside from the picnic, and the driver there were other inclusions... We had champagne chilling on ice upon our arrival, we had a 4-course meal, and an hour spa treatment of our choice. We had a couples foot massage which was very good. I was afraid that it would be bad due to the past reviews but we enjoyed it... We both loved our farewell gift, but we won't spoil the surprise, only to say that I failed to buy anything of the same quality at the markets :O( and I tried.

If you are tired of being organized and busy at work, go to this hotel so that someone else can take care of all the details for you for a while!

Room Tip: We would take a larger room if we stayed longer (ie the royal suite)

We have travelled quite extensively but the personal service at this hotel is unmatched. From our pick up by Jacky at the airport to our 24 hour available driver Bros to our departure accompaniment by Alex, the staff at the Privilege Floor was just incredible. They attended to our every need by arranging our temple tours, free laundry to free delicious breakfast to dinner reservations. We didn't know what to expect at first but they exceeded our expectations.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Siem Reap. We would definitely come back with our grown children.
Thank you everyone at the "Privilege Floor"!

The hotel is beautiful and the service package the Privilege Floor offers is amazing. Having the car and the driver was amazing! We hired a tour guide, Picheth Seang, he was wonderful, very knowledgeable and he planned our 3 days in Siem Reap. It was very hot and humid, so having the driver wait for us after each visit to the temples with cold water and cold washcloths was the best! As you can imagine, after sweating all day, it was great to have your clothes washed and ironed. Coming back to the hotel for the great happy hour was a really nice perk. The spa at the hotel offer wonderful packages and very affordable. I could go on and on. Overall, it was an incredible stay.

Room Tip: Choose a room with Pool view.

There has already been a lot written about The Privilege Floor and is why my wife and I chose to stay here 5 nights recently and very happy we did.

How many places have you stayed, you remember staff names? You get to know them here even while spending most of the days out and about. They are very helpful, entertaining.and found Alex, Socman (very funny!), Sophanna and others great people to chat with. Also, had an interesting chat with the manager about Cambodia.

Our guide and driver, Thep and Ley were equally excellent too. We spent most of our time with these gentlemen and no request was too great.

On the final day of our 3 day Temple Pass we really wanted to see the sunset at Phnom Bakheng. We planned to leave the hotel at 4pm but the rain came at 3:30pm and was a torrential downpour so decided to cancel our driver Ley at ~3:45pm. You wouldn't believe, 15mins later there was blue sky again and back he came to take us within minutes. No problem at all.

We really enjoyed our visit here and every minute seeing all the interesting places around Siem Reap. Ohh and coming back after hours of walking and relax in the bubble bath was a bit of luxury too! :)

Room Tip: The Premier Landmark was nice.

We just left Siem Reap yesterday and I felt compelled to write a review of The Privilege Floor. We probably spend 50-75 nights a year in hotels both for work and vacation and the staff at this hotel are some of the best trained, most customer oriented we've ever run across. The packages they offer should be what all hotels look at for ideas. Laundry (big perk for us, since we are a family of five with small children...significantly decreases the amount of luggage we need to haul), unlimited mini bar, wifi internet, daily cocktail hour with snacks and drinks, daily use of car, airport transfers, tour guide....they have thought of everything and it's all topped off with service with a smile and an answer of "certainly" to whatever request you might have. The rooms are modern and spacious, but truly the people working at The Privilege Floor are it's biggest selling point. We flew to Thailand following Siam Reap and I have to say we are all feeling a bit let down with our next hotel after our stay in Cambodia.

Stayed here only 2 nights (which was not nearly enough) at the end of our honeymoon and lots of days on the go. Was a great way to finish things up.

Seems to be a theme here, but it cannot be stated enough. The staff is incredible here. They definitely go out of their way to make guests comfortable. From arrival to departure, you will not find a hotel staff that tries to do as much for their guests as The Privilege Floor.

We tried the cooking class, and it was a great time. The only drawback was the short amount of time we. It felt a bit rushed, but it was a good time. Be sure not too eat too much beforehand. It is a lot of food!

The spa treatment was good as well. We opted for the De-stress package. The best part for me was the scrub; my wife liked the facial the most. But it was all excellent. I opted for medium to strong in terms of the pressure that is applied during the massage. Next time, I will definitely go for full, out strong. I think they tone the pressure down a bit for guests. I advise 'strong' if you have been out all day sightseeing or had a good workout.

Our guide for the temples was knowledgeable and well spoken. If the guide is not included in the package, it is still worth the extra $30.

The rest of the facilities and services far exceeded expectations save for spotty Internet connection at times. But this was not a major issue for us as we were not working or in need of constant connection.

All in all you are not going to find this type of value anywhere else. We stayed at a four star in Pnhom Penh. While the package was cheaper there, after all the added expenses and services we purchased (transportation, massages, meals, etc), The Privilege Floor was a better deal. And of course the services and food were of much better quality as you would expect from a five star. We are already planning another 5-day trip to Siem Reap.

This hotel has one of the best set of packaged services ever with free mini bar, free laundry, free cocktail hour drinks, free car use for 24 hours, free hotel service to and from airport, and so on. Great experience. And the hotel staff are just the best. So kind, friendly, and eager to assist.
