“Best service ever!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Thank you to everyone at the Privilege Floor for making our stay so wonderful. It was honestly the best service I've ever seen in a hotel and something that you really wouldn't expect in Cambodia (I live here, trust me).

A special thanks to Tithima and to our private driver Mr. Borang for the special care they took of us!

I would recommend this hotel to everyone!

For me,the best hotel in whole Asia region used be a Oriental hotel Bangkok for many years.
But I stayed the Privilege hotel for the first time, and I judged this hotel is No.1 in many aspects.
Especially I highly appreciate the excellent service done by the hotel stuffs in my floor,Watana the personal assistant ,Alex he kindly tasked care of many things, Anna and Judy they always gave me wonderful smile and Pu Rom is reliable driver . Japanese Guide China is also hard worker.
I will surely come back this hotel in the near future

Room Tip: I also recommend good fancy foods and beautiful Kamer people

This 5 stars hotel is the best in its service. Every client is given a guide to service you what do you want to do, and he arrange you the driver. You got a free privat driver and car for 24 hours, and also you can wash your clothes as many as you want for free. Every noon from 5-7 pm at the bar lounge they serve you mocktail, cocktail, juice, and small snacks for free.
That day I was guided by Alex. The hotel restaurant he recommended me inside the hotel has a good taste. The greatest point for his service is when I ask to buy a local number sim-card and he bought it for me tomorrow.
Facility is great too as standard as 5 stars hotel.

Stayed only three days but I wish it could have been many more! Indeed, the Privilege Floor is a real gem for guests who expect the best and nothing more. Beyond my expectations, since the booking through internet to the welcoming at the airport, the smooth check in, the room with great views of the city, the breakfast buffet and the attention for the details, everything was just perfect. Above all, nevertheless, was the exquisite caring of the staff, from our hostess Anna, our driver, the waiters, all were very caring. My deepest congratulations for a well managed resort that made our staying an outstanding one!!

Room Tip: Select the packages if possible, they include all you need for a memorable stay.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Cambodia. We only stayed two nights and had to cram all of the experiences in, but the hotel staff made the whole experience seem relaxing and smooth. We really loved the free evening drinks outside with canapés, the personal driver (who was lovely) and the general service that made everything seamless. We had dinner on the terrace of our room one evening and the staff brought each of the courses through to us, it was a lovely experience. They even produced a bottle of champagne. The day at Angkor Wat was excellent and our guide tailored our trip to what we wanted to see. One of the best parts of the day was having a picnic lunch next to a lake after touring the temples, also organised by the hotel. We would return here in a heartbeat as everything was so wonderful. Only small downside was when you left the Privilege Floor it was a little difficult to get sun loungers at the pool, but this was a minor issue. We loved this place!

We decided to have a tour of parts of south east Asia we had not been to before and Siem Reap was the first stop so we could visit Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Pra Thom.

We were a little unsure abut what hotel to book in Siem Reap - there seemed to be far more options than we were expecting but given this was a special anniversary trip we chose the Privilege Floor (with its sort of "all-inclusive" package).

It did cost a lot more than just a normal room at the hotel but it was well worth it. From the moment we were met by the Privilege Floor staff at the Airport (part of the package) the service we received was nothing short of outstanding.

You are effectively given an account manager for the duration of your stay to look after your needs and your driver who picks you up the airport is available for you throughout your stay whether you want to go visit the temples or just nip out to the local shops.

Our account manager for our stay was a lady called Thitima who was absolutely fantastic in the way she handled all our requests. However she was just one of a whole team on The Privilege Floor who were so friendly and so helpful to us during our stay.

Every single member of staff we dealt with were just superb. Whoever does the training at the hotel should take a bow.

Service was friendly but not obsequious and the lounge for The Privilege Floor guests is so easy to access whatever room you have on The Privilege Floor.

Breakfast is served buffet style or a la carte depending on your preference in the lounge until 15.00 so if you decide to go early to visit the temples for the sunrise you always know you can come back and have a late breakfast - it is thoughtful and great service.

The lounge is always open for soft drinks throughout the day and has an open bar from 17.00 to 19.00 where cocktails are the speciality. The lounge was always busy during those two hours but still plenty of seats whatever time you arrived and like all the staff on The Privilege Floor the service here from the staff was brilliant.

There are a number of other features in your package including free mini-bar and free Wi-Fi which worked really well - connection in the room was good.

Finally when you check out the car is waiting for you to take you back to the airport and help you with your luggage in to the terminal.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was really high quality and almost as large as the main bedroom itself - all in all superb quality for a few days stay.

Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool area and all Privilege Floor rooms are on the top floor (4th).

If I had a small criticism to make (and this is really splitting hairs) then the pool was noisy right up to late at night. Normally we would expect the pool area to go quiet after say 9pm but during our few days it was quite boisterous right up until 11pm or beyond but in truth that is about the only thing we can think of that is even mildly negative.

In all the reviews of hotels we have done for TA over the years we have tried to be as fair and as impartial as we can be and not be over the top in praising an establishment mainly because we ourselves are very wary of reviews that are full of gushing praise because sometimes they seem too good to be true.

However this hotel is as close to perfect as you can get if you are going to Siem Reap for a few days to visit the temples of Angkor Wat.

The rooms and the public areas are in Cambodian traditional style but also very modern and stylish as well as being comfortable - it is a super hotel.

Take the chance and spend the extra dollars per night on the room and get some of the most outstanding service you will ever receive. After we departed the one thing we kept saying was that we were so glad we took the decision to pay the extra for The Privilege Floor.

Room Tip: Pay the extra for a room on The Privilege Floor if you can - it is worth it if you can afford the ex...
