I agree with most of the recent reviews. It NOT a boutique hotel by a stretch, maybe a 2 star budget! We had booked (and paid for) one of the deluxe rooms for 4 days, but had enough after staying there for a night and one breakfast experience (which was like a fight amongst vultures for one carcass, eyukh). Quickly moved to another hotel to not ruin our Cambodia experience entirely.
The room is very basic. The pictures given here are misleading. The bathroom dark and not very clean. The staff is friendly, but that seems to be the case at most hotels, so its not really a specific advantage here. The food, both in room and breakfast, is terrible. Bedsheets and towels not clean. Ofcourse the uncomfortable ride to the hotel on the dirt road each time doesnt help. And when they mention airport transfer, it means on a tuk tuk! So if you have big bags and lots of luggage, not the brightest idea. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay with basic hotel amenities, avoid this one. Okay, if you are a budget traveller, but seems a bit expensive for that.
We moved to Angkor Miracle Resort after, which was perfect in comparison.
