We stayed here for three nights in Jan 2013. It was outstanding and totally above-and-beyond value for money. Huge comfy bed, modern bathroom and furnishings and the huge pool and loungers! But what really set them apart was that as we were getting picked up at 4:15am to go check out the sunrise at Angkor, they had out hot breakfasts to takeaway, ready to go. I also quite liked the location, quiet, but only a 5minute stroll into town.

My family and I stayed at La Niche d'Angkor for five nights. It was a great experience.
After I booked the hotel, I wrote to ask for airport transfers and non-smoking rooms. The management replied promptly, and we were given exactly what we asked for.
This is a small, charming hotel with tropical ambience, and friendly personnel.
Each day, we spent several hours looking at the temples, and then came back to relax at the poolside (a reasonalbly sized pool which was never too crowded).
The rooms were of a generous size, and were clean and well-kept. The one small complaint is that the hot water system was a bit temperamental - but hey, who needs hot water in the tropics?
The service was excellent. The friendly personnel at the reception helped me make phone calls to confirm our overland transport to Phnom Penh.
Each morning, the kitchen staff obligingly indvidualised our orders (my family would choose something from the menu, and then asked for extras - like a fried egg, or bacon, or whatever).
Simply super.

Room Tip: All 36 rooms face the pool.

This hotel is definitely great value, with luxury rooms, really nice pool and a great restaurant/bar. The hotel is full of lush garden and cool little fish ponds which create the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly and always willing to have a conversation. The WiFi is fast and reliable although I had some trouble connecting when all of my friends accessed at the same time. You can get a really good massage at the spa for a super cheap price! The cocktails at the bar are really great and they will even bring them to the pool for you. Location is good, with pub street a 10 - 15 minute walk over the bridge, but for most tourists a cheap and convenient tuk-tuk would probably be recommended. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys the comforts of home.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, although the decor and style of the rooms on the upper floor were a little...

Wonderful hotel! The service and facilities are excellent. The hotel has a pool which I highly recommend to after a day of visiting the temples of Angkor. You have option of taking a free bike at the hotel for visits, but I recommend that you rent bikes elsewhere for a dollar a day, because the hotel's bikes are pretty uncomfortable. Breakfast is excellent, very good indeed. It is true that the hotel is located on a dark street, but you get used quickly and in ten minutes you are on Pub Street. For this price, this hotel is spectacular!

We spent two nights in the hotel and everything was brilliant.

The hotel is 10 minutes walking from Siem Riep center and that is good because you can enjoy a much more relaxfull stay.

The rooms are big and nice for the south east standards and the bathroom is excellent with shower and bath tube.

The swimming pool it's great as well as the area to sunbath, read, etc.

Breakfast includes buffet and also menu so it's plenty of choice.

Staff was always nice and helpful and even they offered you tour services they weren't pushy at all.

We paid 40$ per night. For me quality/price was the best! You can find fanciest places in Siem Reap but this one really had a good atmosphere and fantastic services.
