Excellent service, staff, distance (not too near to pub street etc, hence a quiet enough environment to sleep through the night... but not too far distance from pub street, angkor wat, museum etc.), tasty breakfast

Bicycles are free to use but lack light thus safe to use during the day only.

Deluxe room has bath tub which is awesome after a long sweaty day. No shampoo etc. though. But i brought mine so didnt really mind that.

The electrical water heater was so small had to boil water a number of times just to get drinking water as 2 bottles of water a day is not enough. and no coffee or tea sachets are provided.

All and all, it was a very good value for money.

Sorry for late review. I stayed here for a few nights with my boyfriend, the environment in the hotel is very clean and quite. The staffs there are all very helpful. We were having a great time there. The tuk tuk driver took us to their Cambodia pub street instead of tourist pub and it's really really interesting. I was very shock when I saw the pub, there were ladies sitting in 2 rows at the door, welcoming the guests ( some may call them escort girl maybe?). All menu in Cambodia writing so our tuk tuk driver helps us to order. Their beer there is damn cheap, and it wasn't very strong taste which I think is suitable for me, LOL.

I will be back to siem reap! Not just because its beauty nature, history, people, but the hotel i stayed made my holiday so memorable. Hotel staff was very helpful, they arrange the tour to tonle sap and angkor, with just usd12 cost. The tut tut driver was very pleasant and know what we want to explore about SR, his value is bonus for us! The hotel room very clean, tidy and comfortable to stay. Thanks so much Ms Riya, the hotel manager for your kind help and cooperation.

We got the Check Inn accommodation through a 'Groupon' offer. It was clean and functional and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we realised the toilet didn't have a toilet seat (the sort of thing you only realise is missing when you need it), they explained that the last residents broke it. They went out and bought one for us. Breakfast (7-10am) was included in our package for the 3 nights /4 days. However the hotel should have provided a takeaway breakfast as they would have known that the single daily flight was at 6.00am, and also that visitors to the Angkor Wat temple tend to want to see the sun rise. I asked in advance for a takeaway breakfast and we got 4 slices of white bread and two sachets of jam. And a plastic fork. The best thing was they provided us with the services of Sal Dara a tuk-tuk driver who took us everywhere, was very friendly, completely honest, trustworhty and helpful(Tel:078330995, Facebook: Dara Sal, email: slddara@)10@yahoo.com). It is strongly advised to ask around for what you should pay for things. The hotel staff advised us how much to pay for certain journeys, and if the quote a driver gives you is similar, then you know he is honest. The toilet seat incident sounds bad, but these things can sometimes be overlooked, and, really we were quite happy with what we got, considering what we paid.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms as well as the hotel are nice and clean. Every room seemed to have a tuktuk driver assigned to it so if you don't do the trip with the driver, he won't have an income for the day which makes you feel a bit forced to use his service. Unfortunately, the location is quite a bit outside the city centre - there are no nice restaurants around unless you take a tuk tuk. The "beer street" is quite loud and the atmosphere is strange.

Myself, My wife and 8 other travel mates ( including my best friend Mr & Mrs Darren ) had a pleasant & memorable experience staying at Check Inn. The whole place gave us a peace of mind. If you want to tour Siem Reap, Check Inn is definitely the best place to stay ... We feel like home and all the staff there are indeed very friendly, helpful and committed to please their guests. We stayed there from 02 - 05 March 2014.

Ms Riya, we gratefully thank you for giving us the memories we will remember forever, helping us along since we booked your place 6 months ago. Also thanks to Mr. Vireak, Mr. Chhoeun, and Mr. Sothy for your good services during our stay.

And, Mr Hou Samnang is our perfect guide ( recommended by Ms Riya ) with many skills, take good photographs, good planning and have very good knowledge, and friendly. Thank you Mr Hou.
