“Great moments in small, affordable and beautiful hotel”

I was in Siem Reap with my partner and I decided to choose Bat Hotel. Service is very perfect, airport pick-up with tuktuk is free, from hotel to downtown before 10pm is free, coming back at $US 2.00 only!

My room was clean, well-equipped, and presentable. Clean and high-pressure water tap!

Room rate was tremendously CHEAP! It was totally worthy with what we had spent!

Staff were friendly and sincere! Love them so much!!!!

Recommended hotel to stay!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We availed of their tuktuk service to go around the temples and the city at a very reasonable price. Our tuktuk driver is Say Yada; he is polite and friendly and he always arrived on time. He also provided us with cold water during our tour of the temples. The rest of the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful too. The hotel is located near the temples and a bit out of the way, but our tuktuk service would take us to the city if we need to buy anything without additional charge. There is no electric kettle in the room but you can get hot water and have coffee or tea at the dining area at any time. At the end of our stay, they also dropped us off at the airport free of charge. Free breakfast is very limited and there is only one pillow per guest and it is bit uncomfortable but the good service that they gave us made up for these minor inconveniences.

Bat Hotel .. Rooms are clean, service is like a family room, but without windows in some rooms and the stairs are quite steep embarrassing.

In terms of the location is not too far from downtown. But my point is that the instructions to enter the city or district to the city.

This was the friendliest hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was very nice. Upon arrival, Sophie greeted me with cold water and mangos! She was very kind, informative, and helpful with all my questions about Cambodia and also travel around the Angkor area. My driver, Khoem Chann, was great as well. He's was great to talk to, was professional, and also very friendly. He's a good driver and will take you anywhere with a smile! Hos Keb was also very helpful at the desk when I needed help arranging a tuk-tuk, and also for checking out. Always greeting with a smile. Everyone was all so friendly and helpful, they speak English well, and I even learned a little Khemer!

The room was comfortable, clean, safe, and even had a creative spin -- the cleaning staff folded my towels into hearts! The hotel runs a tuk-tuk service for reasonable prices so you just have a choose a tour off the sheet and away you go. Free water, AC, fridge, wifi, free bananas. This place is really a steal.

Everyone here was extremely helpful starting when they arranged a taxi to pick us up at the border (Poi Pet) that made our arrival a lot faster and easier. The hotel is owned by a Cambodian couple that live there with their children both speak English as well as most of the staff all of them very friendly they even invited us and some other guests to her birthday party!
To go to Angkor Wat we hired one of their drivers for 2 days the first day we saw most of the temples except Angkor Wat and the second day we left the hotel at 4:30 to see the sun rise behind Angkor Wat, it was absolutely worth it to get up so early not only to see the amazing colors but also to enjoy the temple without many people.
Breakfast at the hotel wasn’t very good just a couple of toasts butter and jam, instant coffee and sometimes a banana.

We were greeted by Keb when we first got to Bat Hotel and he was very nice and very helpful! We got to our room and it was clean the bed was comfortable with a small fridge and had free water. The Tuk Tuk driver Mr. Chin was amazing! He came to pick us up at 4:30am so we could watch the sunrise and waited for us the whole day! We were always greeted with a smile and a big wave when we walked out of a temple. Sophia the manager was also very nice to us and spent time chit chatting sharing music and stories about Cambodia. She even cooked an authentic dinner that was delicious one of the nights and invited a few of her friends to join us. We really felt like we were treated like friends not just hotel guests. It is a little bit out of town but it is on the way to Angkor Wat which we really liked and would recommend.

Location is far from center but rooms are ok (for 15USD per night). I had some problems with service and so did other people that I met in the hotel. I arrange a tuk-tuk for my guided tour to Angkor Wat the night before and remanded the reception stuff about this next morning before breakfast, but when I was ready to leave, I was told that I have to wait some 45min because no tuk-tuk was available, so i ended up leaving almost 2h later then planned (and arranged). That just wasn't nice. And i got no apology or explanation... they just didn't care. But once tuk-tuk arrived, it was a very nice tour with a great driver/guide!

But overal it was a nice stay and if they pay more attention to service (get more responsible and welcoming reception staff) I might stay there again.
