Wat Thmey might not be overly impressive to look at, but it is still worth spending 20 minutes or so here at this site, and to pay your respects to those brutally murdered here. There is a memorial stupa filled with skulls and clothing of those who passed, and it is powerful to stand there in silence and take a moment to reflect. It's not hard to include it in a day tour around Angkor.
