“Brilliant Atmosphere Perfect Location ..Stay here”
Reviewed 23 November 2012

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the side walk hotel in a double room for four nights we orginally booked 3 night but loved it so much we stayed longer. The location is perfect of you want to be close to pub street and lovely resturants but far enough away to get a good rest before taking an temples adventure. The owners are loevly really helpful and nothing is a problem .. they arranged a driver to take us to the temples without any pressure. This is the perfect place to stay if you want a real taste of Cambodian hospitality !!!

I stayed for 4 nights and had really great time here. The rooms are nice and clean, internet connection works perfectly and the staff is very friendly. Serving free tea and coffee, always laughing.... The hotel is close to the city center, just a short walk (no need to spend money for tuk tuk). And the price for room is very reasonable. I would certainly recommend this place.

This place is great. Really close to the city center, the Side Walk is a pretty nice guest house. Rooms are big and clean, wi-fi connection works perfectly and people are wonderful. Definitely recommended.

Furthermore the owner supports A.C.Milan, and we spent some times talking about football and the destiny of Serie A!

By the way, if you see a big boy in the lobby with red sunglasses...well those glasses were mine: a gift for a good boy! Hope to see you again guys. Have fun (big boy, give up with turists, cambodian girls are wonderful).

From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with open arms! The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They are always smiling and laughing...singing...and you can always have a laugh with them!
The food is delicious, especially the chicken burger and beef burger, and their chips are homemade sooo good! Plenty of beer in the fridge all the time!
We have already recommended this place to a couple of other people whilst we were on our travels in Cambodia and they enjoyed they stay here very much too. Defiantly worth a shot icant imagine anyone being disappointed here. They are currently building a swimming pool which should be lush when it's finished, due to be finished by Christmas!
Come here you know you want too!!!! We loved it, stayed here on two separate occasions!!

I have been staying at this hotel for a month and I am more than happy with everything that is provided here. The rooms are really big with both A/C and fan depending on your preference, there is a fridge, hot/cold shower and TV with many English channels.there is a really lovely balcony on the first and second floor where I have spent a lot of my time. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating to your every need and there's free tea and coffee throughout the day. The location is about 5-10 mins walk to the night market and the town centre. Overall a really great hotel and much quieter than being right in the middle of town. Added bonus of a swimming pool being put in which should be completed in the next month or so and as I'm here for a while, I'm very much looking forward to that!

I would recommend this guesthouse as the staff are very friendly and informative. The breakfast was yummy. It's in a good location for walking to Pub Street and the Night Market or you can get a cheap tuk tuk. They are building a swimming pool which will make it even better. The rooms are a good size and you get clean towels everyday. Nothing seems to much trouble.

We had previously searched this hotel online, as we were travelling from Phnom Penh looking to stay in Siem Reap for 3 nights. We were attracted by both the fair price and the excellent reviews the hotel had recieved - and we were not let down ! Gnagn and his staff are very very welcoming and will do all they can to ensure you have a welcoming stay. We were welcomed and then shown to the twin room we had requested. Very clean, tidy and spacious. After returning from a walk around town we were both welcomed down for a drink and to socialise with Gnagn and his staff (something we were not forced into). After a good nights sleep we arrived down for breakfast. No pressure on time, Gnagn was comforting in saying there was no set time for breakfast ! The hotel supplies drivers to the main attractions via tuk tuk again something we didnt feel pressured into doing. Gnagn and his staff all speek near-perfect english which proved a huge help in arranging things. This top service continued into the second day, where this time we did not take up the offer of the wider scale tour, but spent the day relaxing around the hotel and socialising with all staff. Cannot say enough positives about the hotel, and Gnagn and the staff became not only helpful during our stay but became friends of ours. Would reccomend to anyone considering staying here, a good hotel, a good price and staff out of this world !

Room Tip: Even though we did not stay here - the balcony room looked very nice and overlooks the city.
