We stayed at sidewalk for 2 weeks- it became our Cambodian home. We got to know other guest staying as well as the staff, who became our family for our stay in SR.
The hotel isn't 5 star, but is sufficient in everything you need to be comfortable.
We had a double bed, aircon room. The room was cleaned daily, bed made, free little water and towels replaced. Equipped with mini fridge and ensuite.

Wifi works throughout the hotel and pool is lovely on a hot day. Breaky is your choice of eggs and fresh baguette or a fruit salad.

It's a 10-15 minute walk or $2 tuk tuk into pub street and the night markets, however, local food spots surround the hotel and there's an awesome burger bar straight across the street, run by a young Aussie guy, so we basically didn't have to leave our block!

Stayed: December 2013, travelled as a couple

Top spot close to everything rooms were good value for money and staff made you feel more then welcome almost like a home away from home always a beer on offer or something to eat off the BBQ in the arvo. Plus a pearler of a burger bar across the road couldn't recommend it any higher. sidewalk never die!!

Booked two nights, stayed six,and would stay again.I liked it! On arrival, after a torturous bus journey from Bangkok, the reception guy,Koni, sat me down with a cool drink. My room was large, clean and overlooked the pool.Breakfast is a basic affair.....eggs or fruit.....tea& coffee always available. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the market/Pub Street tourist Mecca. However, the local environs contain a variety of eating places,mini-marts,laundries,barbers and,of course, tuk tuks.
The staff are a pretty cool bunch, with no hard sell of tours, but the aforementioned Koni is a very welcoming presence.....when I mislaid my sandals he took off his flip flops and gave them to me.Now that's exceptional customer service!

Room Tip: Sorry, can't help you there

We didn't expect much as it was so cheap but it exceeded all expectations : clean, huge modern hotel in a central location with stunning pool free wifi, air con and breakfast ! Great, fun staff and perfect if your volunteering in Siem reap as a lot of the guests do.

I stayed here for 3 nights while in Siem Reap and loved it. The rooms are clean and within walking distance to Pub Street and the Night Market. The staff is very friendly and helpful when planning transport and such. Great spot for travelers that want comfort but don't want to pay much!
