Spent 3 nights here with our 2 teenage daughters. Wonderful location and loved the Colonial Style. Wonderful breakfast buffet and found food good and service excellent. Arranged all our tours through the hotel and found they offered good advise at very competitive prices.
Lovely pool and nice to come back and relax after a full day touring.
Found all the staff friendly and helpful.
Excellent choice for breakfast.
Room service was efficient and housekeeping great.
There is a spa but we did not use it.

French Colonial look and feel, quiet & relaxing
4 of us stayed here and we all felt like we were taken back to the old colonial days but on closer inspection you could tell it was a modern take…..this did not detract from our enjoyment of the hotel however.
Staff, check-in, room service all good
Pool was great for dip in the hot afternoon sun however the cocktails were poor for a hotel of this standard and service was slow. Maybe as we are xpats in HK we have higher standards but I’ll let you decide.
Location was great and everything a short ride in a tuk tuk or walk away.
Restaurants were good and offered a good mix of local and international food to decent standard.
Room was lovely and well kept. We had pool view room and the balcony was relaxing.
Lifts were old style door/cadge which was a feature that I just loved.
While we had a good time I would not stay again as this place did not grab me or sweep me off my feet so to speak.

Recently spent a mini vacation there. It's a beautiful hotel in a quite and upscale neighborhood (not along any major roads). I like the decoration and set-up inside the hotel, which makes you feel it is bigger than it actually is. The baby crocodile pond, the swimming pool, and room patio are all really cool. The hotel is just some short tuk tuk rides away from most of the major attractions. There are always tuk tuk drivers at the front door waiting for you. Everything can be purchased using U.S. dollars, however I suspect prices in local currency would be A LOT lower.

I'll start by saying that i am not a huge fan of the victoria hotels. we stayed in 2 in vietnam and this 1 in siem reap. They are always conflicting. Some great things and some horrible things.
pros: beautiful pool, clean room, large breakfast buffet, happy hour with canapes. great valet and driver from airport. good location
cons: service in restaurants is very poor, long wait for a coffee or to order a drink, old bathroom with shower that sprayed water all over floor (room 223). worst massages we have ever had. older guests should request a room closer to the front lobby. We had a very long walk to our room on the opposite side of the hotel. We didn't mind but an older guest would have a hard time.

Also we were not happy that there it lacked a fitness center! however, the fitness centers in the other victoria hotels were horrible anyway.

Highly reccomend! Grounds are beautiful. Loved the French colonial style which felt very quaint and boutiquey. We stayed over Christmas and were there for the stunning Christmas Eve gala the staff put on. The staff are so wonderful- they all make every effort to make sure you're having a good time. Can't say enough good things about them. We absolutely loved the guide they set up for us to take us around town- we ended up booking him for another day. Staff all speak excellent English. All the food we ate there was fantastic, including the breakfast buffet.

We stayed at the Victoria Angkor Wat at the recommendation of our tour company. The hotel is small, but elegant. The staff is totally solicitous. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and complete with all types of amenities. My family enjoyed massages at the spa. You could partake of half-priced drinks during happy "hour" which lasted until 7p.m., along with great free hor d'oeuvres. Unlike other hotels we stayed at in Vietnam during our visit to SE Asia, I could turn on CNBC and stay abreast of the market. The pool is enormous and a great place to relAx after touring Angkor Wat and Angkor Thomas. The French restaurant is a Trip Advisor favorite, but we won't try it until tomorrow night.
