This older hotel situated in a park-like setting surrounds a large pool and eating/sitting area. The lobby and public areas were beautiful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with a caveat that you can't really use the balcony because bugs will get into your room. We found our room quiet even though the pool was just below. Adding to the comfort was a delicious, varied breakfast buffet where there were even traveling omelet stations. We appreciated the coffee and croissants which were available before the early morning visit to Angkor Wat. Also, breakfast was still available when we got back after sunrise and a tour of Angkor Wat. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, including providing a delicious cake for my husband's birthday. the hotel was also within walking distance of several restaurants or a short taxi/tuktuk ride to other. locations.

The hotel is built as an atrium, with the center containing outdoor tables, a bar, a great pool, and a lovely garden. The happy hour on the deck adjoining the pool is one of the greatest, with good snacks and great drings. The lobby is well staffed and they are happy to help in any way they can. The restaurant has a good mix of western and Cambodian/SE Asia food, and the location is perfect for anything you wish to do in the area. It is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, and we have traveled throughout the world. They offer a fitness center and a spa with great massage.

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to look out onto the garden/pool area, and all would seem to be fine

My wife and I, along with a group of another 5 couples stayed here for 3 nights as part of out tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. Hotel has beautiful grounds, very nice pool and great service.Rooms are big and in good shape for a resort that is not new. A couple of issues to consider though: 1. with exception of a restaurant and small bar area none of the common areas are air conditioned and when you come back from a day exploring temples in high heat and humidity this spoiled American craves AC; another is we were departing very late at night and hotel could not provide us with a room for half a day even for a price. They did store our luggage and offered the use of pool and changing rooms. Overall: nice but just bit short of excellent.

We spent 3 nights in this very nice Hotel while we tour all the temples around Seam Reap. Excellent choice for the right price level. Good enough rooms for the price, excellent breakfast, outstanding pool, competent nice people all over, excellent food service, good and somehow pricey drinks but always with some snack along with it. Really a good job guys!
In summary highly recommendable for a family vacation.

Room Tip: Try the pool view rooms

We just spent 5 nights at the Victoria Angkor Resort and were absolutely happy with our choice.
It started with the hotel car still waiting for us at the airport at 05.00 AM after a 10 hours delayed flight. The hotel is a splendid old French colonial building, with a great swimming pool in a lush garden. Service is just perfect , the staf always greeting you with a infectious smile. The rooms are great ( make sure you get a poolview).
Breakfast is great, starting the day with some bubbles, and then having your eggs prepared at your table with some gorgeous Cambodian fruit along. We did not try the other restaurants.
We did most of the sightseeing with the touragent from the hotel which was just perfect. If you go for the tuk tuk make sure you get tuk tuk driver No1 ( Mr Thian). Do recommend this hotel to anyone, family, couples or singles.

Room Tip: Suggest you take a room with a poolview
