Very friendly staff, great food, and location. Loved the little things about this hotel….the nice smelling cool and hot towels provided, the little gifts left in our room, the staff that will go out of their way for you just to make you happy, beautiful gift shop, great bar and friendly bartenders. The room was good but the staff is what really makes this hotel so great.

Room Tip: Probably best to request a room with the pool view not as noisy.

This hotel has a great "feel" about it, much better than some of the sterile 5 star hotels. Right from check in, the staff are very friendly, respectful and accommodating, always with a smile. Each time you enter the hotel you are greeted with a cold face washer. The rooms are large, big comfortable beds and all have balconies. There is free wifi in all rooms. Breakfast is good with a selection of cuisines and freshly made juice. There is a large salt water pool with a good number of lounges, umbrellas and hats are provided for those who choose to sit in the sun.

Beautiful pool; very helpful and friendly staff. Got a driver and guide to visit temples through the hotel. Very easy and affordable. Bed was enormous! Traveled as a couple in September 2011. Very well located.

We have just stayed 3 nights there and we have been very pleased by this hotel.

Decoration is very beautiful in the lobby but also in rooms. Comfort is also great. Service is very friendly and helpful at the front desk and in the breakfast restaurant.
We have also enjoyed a lot their breakfast, which shows quality and choice. And i can tell you that we have stayed in a lot of hotels in South East Asia.

In total, I have particularly appreciated this hotel because of its specific charm. I will probably try other hotels of this chain.

My only disappointment has been for the swimming pool. I know that many guests will be surprised by my comment as it looks beautiful and large on pictures. It is very nice indeed because of its specific decoration, but it is not as large as it first seems compared to the size of the hotel. At the end of the afternoon, after visiting temples, all guests want to jump into the pool and it is quickly crowded. This is worsened by the fact that 3 balls are left for the use of guests. Many people play with balls and it gets difficult to swim because of the space occupied by the different games. I would recommend the hotel to limit the number of balls to 1 or 2.In addition, staff at the pool are not that efficient and not very keen on helping guests to get a chair and a towel.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms are big, clean and have every comfort you need and finally we had a shower with a proper water pressure :) The pool was lovely and very big so that you could actually swim in it. We always found chairs next to the pool when we needed them and the staff all over the hotel was very friendly. The breakfast buffet is massive so that you really have trouble deciding what you want to eat. The bar has a nice selection of cocktails always served with little nibbles. One evening we ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. I also had a head massage at the Spa and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Some people mention that the hotel was not clean but we never had that experience. On the final day we checked out at 12 but could use changing rooms next to the Spa so that we could enjoy the pool until we went to the airport. The hotel is also well located so that you easily can walk to the town center. We really would have loved to stay for another few days :)

This is a fabulous hotel. Pool area exceptional, one of our "tuk-tuk" drivers said it is the best in town. Rooms overlooking the pool wonderful view. Staff very friendly and my husband had his birthday whilst we were here and they all came out singing with a cake for him at breakfast as well as a card signed by many of the staff.
Happy hours are great value as all drinks half price and they put on canapés as well and keep topping up the bainmaries. They make terrific Margarita's.
Definitely would return to The Victoria if visiting Siem Reap in the future.

Impossible to find a fault at this resort, from the moment you arrive until check out you are treated with a smile and a friendly face. The building is a wonderful replica of a colonial era style and the rooms are clean and spacious .The restaurants serve delicious meals and the breakfast service is as good as you could ever ask for. Happy hour drinks encourage you to stay around the resort a little longer before heading into "pub street". Select tuk tuks await your every need and you can relax that they aren't trying to rip you off. The resort in some way reflects Cambodia, everyone is pleased to see you, a warm friendly smile on everyone's face and an ability to look to the future and not back at the atrocities that have so visibly had an impact on the people.
I'm sure you could stay somewhere cheaper but I'm not sure you could stay anywhere better.
