This is a life time must see! It is impressive and gorgeous and will surely wow you. It impressed all our family despite the fact that we already come from a very historical nation....

“Sunset is a coin toss, but temple is amazing”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

Went to the temple in order to watch the sunrise. However the weather was hideously cloudy and saw absolutely nothing. If you're wanting to see the sunrise, check the weather beforehand.

Ignoring that, the temple itself is stunning. You could easily spend half a day just in this one temple - there are dozens of halls and smaller buildings, and plenty to explore. The detail on the walls alone are worth the trip. Just keep an eye out for the incense burners looking for donations.

“Breathtaking !!”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

I was very impressed that I could see this historical temple in my eyes. It was communication with ancient people and universe. I had been so looking forward to visiting here as the lover of history. Outer shape of this temple was just astonishing, but whe I started looking at details, I realized that so many people throughout decades touched them and careless protection caused serious damages. I couldn't hardly recognize the original shape of most of the sculptures on the walls. It was very sad reality. I just hope that this great historical place wouldn't be damaged any more by the efforts of all of us.

“Must See”
Reviewed 11 February 2014

On many peoples bucket list. It is a must see. We enjoyed the visit, but I would recommend seeing the other key temples in the area, as we found them even more interesting.

“Real Heritage tour”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

One of the most magnificent and amazing buildings ever constructed and hope that with the USD20 per person entrance fee the Authority there will diligently maintain and upkeep the place for the future generation to visit. It would be really shameful if they don't. Perhaps toilet facilities should be provided !
