Pricey but delicious food. A real taste of a range of the local cuisine which doesn't leave you overloaded.

“OK”

The menu is good value on paper, but we found the food a bit samey. Ours started with three salads which apart from the main ingredient did blend together, the following courses were fine but nothing like the quality we expected after having a set menu in Meric, (former restaurant in the old Hotel De La Paix). Setting is nice, but it would be nicer if you didn't dine next to a main road. Wouldn't rush back.

“Chef is fantastic”

The tasting menus display his experience and artful presentation skills. One of his dishes he explained came from watching his mother use ingredients. We love that he can bring this to us in his dishes.

“Overpriced and pretentious”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2013

I can see the appeal of the slick designer decor and dimmed lights, but this place is seriously overpriced. 6$ for a bottle of water! Even in London or Paris, that is expensive. Also, we were attacked by mosquitoes even after we asked to be moved inside. Food was ok, but not the best.

“Delicious and a great value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

The seven course tasting menu is the way to go. For $31 per person, you will experience a tasty, balanced, well textured and fresh dinner. Service is outstanding and the flavors are just wonderful. Usually, the menu includes fish and shellfish, poultry, pork and beef and the presentations are different and very creative. Chef Chanrith is a very talented chef and the service is exceptional!
