I've never eaten dinner on a swinging bed before but there's always a first time! We were met from the Tuk Tuk with a cool towel which was a nice touch. An excellent dinner (we had the tasting menu) that surprised at every course. Not cheap at all but great quality and as is usually the case, you get what you pay for.

We had a very good meal, each course was delicious and we got to taste things we may not have chosen from a main menu. Probably a little expensive in comparison to many of the restaurants in Siem Reap but worth it for the different experience.
The restaurant is also very nice, within Shinta Mani hotel, and of course you can use the 'swinging beds' if you choose.

Siem Reap gets many tourists, and many of them are in groups and wouldn't venture to an upmarket restaurant in a hotel. Food in Siem Reap can be very inexpensive, but with the low price comes a lack of quality produce and originality. Kroya is special. We first went because we were a little tired after arriving and it was easy. The 7 course Khmer tasting menu changes every night so no chance of getting bored with the food. There is an "normal" menu as well if you don't feel adventurous.

We had the tasting menu and enjoyed it very much. At $31 per head, it is great value. Wine is available at various price levels. We though the courses came out a little fast, but that is often the case in Asia, The size of the tasting plates was just right. I would comment that the wine was not quite chilled enough, but some time in the bucket solved that. Not a big problem.

Service was very friendly and fast enough, We ended up going more than once to avoid tourist food.

I had the Khmer tasting menu, which was as good as anything I have eaten in Michelin star restaurants in London. The outdoor area with the lovely swing couches to eat on over the little pond make it a special and unforgettable experience, the staff are amazing!

Food was delicious and well presented, menu was varied and a solid drinks menu. The service was perhaps the best I have ever experienced, sincerely. One night I wasn't feeling all too well and the waitress noticed and had the chef prepare me a special local dish to help with my sickness. I have never experience anything quite like it. Amazing
