“Great value for money”
Reviewed 23 October 2012

Thanks to Moy and her staff for a great 5 nights. We were made to feel welcome from the start and everyone bent over backwards to help us. We had a double a/c room on the 3rd floor which was quiet, pleasant and comfortable. Moy helped us to arrange all our tours and return bus travel to Phnom Penh, all of which went off without a hitch.

A little distance out of town which was annoying (20mins walk) but good value for the price. Right next to a blind massage parlor though so that was cool.

Mostly quiet apart from one night where all the locals were drinking outside and singing off key. Would have been fine but we had an early start the next day.

Some of the other people in our group had issues with their air con either not turning on or not turning off, but ours was fine.

Most probably wouldn't stay there again because there are so many other choices in Siem Reap.

I stayed in the guesthouse for 3 nights. The rooms are big, the bed very comfortable and everything very clean. The staff is very friendly and the prices absolutely fair. The woman at the reception gives advices for example how much a tuktuk driver can charge maximum, where a good massage place is etc. Plus she gives out the bus tickets for the original price. The food at the restaurant is good and breakfast is already available at 6 am. I would come definitely back here if I would come back to Siem Reap.

Very basic guest house... room with a bed and shower, but a great place to stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Had a problem with a leaky shower which was fixed when we returned from our days adventures. Gave them some laundry to do and was returned the next day all clean and smelling lovely, a far cry from other 'laundry' experiences. Within walking distance from town (check out the Temple bar). Would definitely return. Clean. Just off from the main road, with a handy garage around the corner for snacks. Felt safe. Stayed April 2011.

Victory Guest House was the most pleasant of surprises. It was inexpensive, well-maintained, central, and comfortable. The staff is probably the best we encountered over our 3-month backpacking trip across Southeast Asia. They were serviable, helpful, and courteous almost to a fault. The morning we went to see Angkor Wat, they had our 16 bikes ready beforehand so we could leave at 5AM. When our bus picked us up the last morning at 7AM, they surprised us by having sandwiches ready for all of us for our journey. I am intolerant to gluten, and bought gluten-free pancake mix at a nearby supermarket. They were kind enough to make the whole pack for me when I gave it to them.
The only thing that wasn't perfect: the water did not always run, and it sometimes took a while to get it switched back on, although I am not sure that this was necessarily their fault.

Victory GH providing good services with good value. Breakfast was delicious, room and bathroom are clean and comfy. Cable tv also provided, which is important for me, because i can watch football game. They also provide tuktuk service. The tuk tuk driver is really really nice.
The place is a little bit outside the central area, but it's a good thing, because it's quieter, and also prevent us from flood last time. But siem reap is a small town, so everywhere seems near to me :D
Would like to stay again.

Really friendly, great value and large airy rooms. Family run and with a great open lounge/dining area in which to relax. 10 minute walk from the quite horrible town centre which can easily be avoided by going to restaurants and shops near the Victory.
