“Nice hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 January 2013

It’s a great hotel located on the outskirts of maps for tourists of Siem Reap. The breakfast was monotonous (3 dishes of eggs, jam, 2 toasts, beverages), but tasty. There was a small pool and sunbeds available for guests. Rooms equipped with minifridge, TV and safe. Wifi connection available throughout the entire hotel area. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. All receptionists could speak English. The hotel offers help in any situation. If you don’t want to make use of the hotel offer (the price is a few $ higher than on the street), nobody will be offended.
The “city centre” is 15 minutes away by foot (the hotel offers a free of charge tuk-tuk). In the neighbourhood there are local shops and restaurants. Although, in most of them the staff doesn’t speak any language, but khmer, it is not a problem to communicate at all.
We enjoyed our stay in the hotel so much, that we decided to postpone our departure date. If you want to experience a real Cambodian city life, this is a hotel for you.

This place is great!! The staff are very helpful with advice and helping organise transport/tours etc. The rooms are a good size and clean. We had two rooms and one was a Family room which was perfect to give people with families a little room to spread out and get out from under each others feet. The area outside is awesome for relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. Would recommend to anyone and will come back again on our next trip for sure.

We were fours adults and two kids and our stay was simply amazing. It all started started with a phone call the day before we arrived informing that we were traveling with a one year old infant and the need to get a baby cot. The owner of the hotel said that they did not have a baby cot but that he would try to have one ready for us upon our arrival. To my surprised when we arrived we had a beautiful brand new baby cot bought by the hotel on purpose, that is service !!!! From day one we discussed all our tours with the front desk and we considered their comments before deciding what to do on each day. We were never disappointed and feel grateful for that support. They arranged transportation for some of the tours at very reasonable prices and gave us insightful tips like visiting the waterfalls or experiencing a delicious cooking class. Their recommendations for restaurants have always been great, these guys know their business. Rooms are comfortable and clean. You can relax in the swimming pool before dinner... The bottom line is, if you stay at Boutique Cambo Hotel you will have the perfect base to explore Siem Reap. Thank you guys for our memorable stay!!!!

Room Tip: If you are travelling with a child you can book a triple room !

Clean comfortable room, free wifi in room, the most friendly accommodating staff we have ever experienced. This hotel is a jewel. Absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed in, in the states or out of the country. Good sized clean room with comfortable bed. Free wifi, in the common guest areas and in the room, and it works. Air conditioning and in-room refrigerator. Free tuk tuk rides to the center of town and tuk tuks available on site to take you anyplace you choose for a low fare. EVERY person on staff is friendly, accommodating and helpful. They go above and beyond to help with any and every need you may have. Check with Lida at the desk if you need help with anything. She is AMAZING! Choose Mr. Army for your tuk tuk driver and you won't be disappointed. He is so much fun! We reserved two nights, ended up staying six more nights, and were sorry to leave the friends we made there. They made our visit special and one we won't forget. We highly recommend this hotel!

Room Tip: I am not aware if the hotel has a fitness center or spa, but it does have a gorgeous pool and activi...

Loved my stay here! The staff is GREAT!!!! Location is away from the main market area, but closer to Angkor Wat. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location is in the midst of a number of local night clubs (not tourist clubs) and beer gardens. This creates quite a bit of noise at night. So pack your earplugs and ask for a high floor away from the clubs. Alternatively, go to a local beer garden and enjoy!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room on a high floor away from the club noise.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good. I enjoyed the pool and the tuk tuk service. I came to this hotel with my husband and he wanted to stay at a more exspensive hotel but I told him to give this one a try and we are both very happy that he did. I will be back again on my next trip to Siem Reap. :)
