“Really Good Japanese Food”
Reviewed 8 July 2014

A second night out in Siem Reap brought us to this really good gem of a Japanese restaurant. Not sure how anyone could complain about finding mayo in this place? The nigiri was really perfect as was our main. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a change from Khmer food which is wonderful generally. You have the option of sitting Japanese style on mats or with a well under the table to allow you sit European style. Staff and ambience really good with great food, give it a try

“Too much mayo!”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 via mobile

We had high hopes for this restaurant with all the great reviews, but were quite disappointed. We had wakame, salmon nigiri, spicy tuna roll, and rainbow roll.

The wakame was great. Salmon nigiri was good. The spicy tuna however tasted like it was made with canned tuna and had more mayo than spiciness. The rainbow roll was slathered in mayo - even after scraping off the mayo from the top, the mayonnaise inside still overpowered the fish.

“ Thd BEST Spider Roll ever!”
Reviewed 3 June 2014 via mobile

We went here for my birthday. The room was beautiful, with cascading water between glass, so you could still see outside, but it was distorted, in an artsy sort of way. It is not cheap. I think we spent $75 u.s. For an appetiser, 3 rolls, and a bottle of champagne. The staff does kind of hover, but I found this to be an issue at a lot of places in Thailand and Cambodia. They don't give you space to look over the menu. Other then that service was good. We had a chilled ginger tofu appetiser. It was okay. I probably would have rated 4 stats has it not been for the spider roll. It's always been one of my favourites, but theres was our of this world. Outside the nori, they wrapped a translucent paper thin later of pickled diakon. It added this while new dimension! Excellent. The spicy scallop was tasty. The caterpillar was good, but nothing special.
