“Japan in Cambodia”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

Just back from Hashi after a great meal with my family. A great evening, super friendly staff and really good Sushi and Japanese food that is a good as most Japanese restaurants I've been to in Europe.

The kim chi was delicious, the tempura pawns and rock shrimp crisp and the spicy tuna roll perfect. We had Japanese hot pot with steak, noodles and an enormous plate of vegetables.

To finish a really nice green tea ice cream.

Hashi is recommended!

“Very Good Sushi in a Beautiful Setting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

There are lots of dirt-cheap places to eat in Siem Reap; Hashi isn't one of them (by Siem Reap standards). But if you want a night off from the pub-street scene and some amazing food, quality drinks with professional service, this is a good option. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff exceptionally friendly. I sat at the small but comfortable sushi bar and spent the entire time talking to the sushi preparers, letting them guide my choices. The sushi was excellent; the atmosphere adding to the whole experience. Exactly what a good sushi bar should be. Will definitely return on a future visit!

“Nice food at a reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

We had a lovely meal at The Hashi. Service was warm and genuine, and the quality of the food very good. The sashimi platter was fresh and nicely presented. The tempura was crisp and light. Is it the best Japanese food - well, no... but still very good and reasonably priced (of course considered expensive by local standards). Well worth a visit if you are looking for a change from the local food. Only drawback was the Japanese style seating which was not the most comfortable - unless you're used to sitting cross legged or on the floor.
