My son and I stayed in this hotel for a week starting 14th February 2014 and cannot praise the hotel and staff enough.
The pick up from the airport was on time and we received a running commentary along the route to the hotel with Mr Chan detailing the areas that we passed through.
Booking in went smoothly, and arranged a two day itinerary with a guide through Mr Chan. The guide Mr Nak was awesome, his knowledge of the temples and history of Cambodia is second to none.
The room was cleaned each day to a high standard and the free mini bar was re stocked regularly.
The pool was clean and we never had any problem getting a poolside lounger.
Check out is at 10am however as our flight was not until late afternoon we were allowed to remain in the room until 4pm free of charge.
Also the breakfast is excellent, lots of variety and even a chef who will cook noodles and chicken etc on request..
Free WIFI throughout the hotel and poolside is another bonus.
Overall this hotel was brilliant, the staff are so friendly and helpful.
The hotel is perfectly situated for visits to outlying sites and the centre of Siem Reap.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Siem Reap.

We stayed there for 5 nights in January. The room was large and clean. The free Breakfast was adequate. The staff were keen to help and always smiling. The location was handy; a brisk 10 minute walk from Pub Street.

I would not use the spa/massage/pool facilities at the Hotel as they were a bit dingy and below par with the rest of the property. There are lots of wonderful and cheaper spas in town. Kaya in the Old Market area was the best among the few we tried.

The wi-fi connection was so weak and frustrating that we will not go back to this hotel for that reason.

If these two negatives are not important to you, then we recommend Memoir D'Angkor Hotel as a solid mid-range option.

We were met at the airport by the friendly and efficient Phasy who introduced us to Siem Reap on our short journey to the hotel.
The room was clean and tastefully decorated and staff were friendly and attentive at all times.
We were provided with a freshly made packed breakfast on our first day, at 05:00, catching a tuk-tuk to the sunrise. The other two breakfasts were a fine buffet selection with on-tap chef for omelettes etc. A little treat by the bed at night was a nice touch, though having to ask for tea bag replacements each day was strange? Though our travel washing was done at no cost.
We can overlook the noisy air con and not a great view for the sheer delight of a hotel trying to achieve true customer care!
Car to the airport, accompanied by Phasy, who was able to answer our questions about life in Cambodia, completed our stay.....thank you so much!
We would choose to return here if ever we revisit Siem.

Went for our honeymoon from 9 - 13Feb 2014. Driver was at the airport to welcome us with our name on a signboard. On our way, we had a mint cold towel to clean our face and a cold drink. Once reach hotel, welcome drink was served and Mr Chan guided us on the documentation then followed by showing us around the hotel and then to our room. We were surprised once we step into our room. The deco on the bed was awesome, till we didn't feel like destroying the effort. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel staffs were approachable and very welcoming. Breakfast was good with alot of varities. Staffs at breakfast area were also friendly and welcoming. Any enquiries about travelling or tour packages, the hotel staffs were always there to give their opinion or help us in booking the packages. On the 3rd day we decided to go for the floating tour. But we haven't book the package. On the 2nd day at around 1030pm, we checked with Mr. Chan at the reception whether can he help us book the package. Without any questioning, he immediately called the company enquired for us and then helped to book the package for the next day. And then we realised that he supposed to be off duty at that hr, but then he still helped us. On our last day, we decided to go for the Khmer ceramics fine art centre. We checked with reception on the direction but the Staff(sorry didn't get his name) checked his driver schedule and asked the driver to drop us at the place. We were happy with how they serve their customers. At the same time we also wanted to go for the Apsara Show for that night. Staff recommended the one opposite the hotel with dinner provided and they booked on behalf of us too. When we were ready to go for dinner, a staff followed us all the way to the restaurant and till to the table we were assigned too. At such a big restaurant we got a place near the stage and was able to see the show clearly. It was a great show and good food. On our last day, Mr Chan followed us till the airport to say goodbye. We were so glad with the awesome service they have provided us. We felt so pampered. Our stay at Memoire d' Angkor Boutique Hotel was memorable. The next time when we go to siem reap, we will definitely choose Memoire d' Angkor Boutique Hotel. Thanks to Mr. Chan and his group for giving us such a pleasant trip.

Every member of the staff was gracious and went out of their way to make you feel special. This was way beyond the standard. Our travel company classified this as a First Class Hotel (as opposed to Luxury-Siem Reap has several)and it was in every way.. Beautiful rooms, decor and great swimming pool. Breakfast was included and was delicious as well as varied. I can not comment directly on price since this was a part of my tour package. We were allowed to check out at 6PM and if desired they will have a spa room available for later departures so you can shower and change clothing.

Room Tip: I spent little time in my room so whether I had a good view, which I did, did not matter.

We stayed here in january 2014. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome. The room was good. We did have a small problem with the window ( one didn't close so well, but since we were on an upper floor this wasn't a big problem). We decided to tell the receptionist. She made one phonecall, and asked us if we wanted to see the new room... We were shocked that they handled the situation so nice, because for us there wasn't a big problem. We got a family room, with a huge bed, two bathrooms, a living room... Fantastic! Laundry is free, you also get fresh fruit everyday and sometimes even homemade cookies. All of the staff are very friendly! Would definitely go back again.

We were bumped from Hotel Somadevi and this was the only place available. They only had a suite for $130 so we took it. Wish we had continued our search and found something cheaper- we wanted luxury and we got a view of a brick wall! Our huge bed was lovely and comfy but the sheet was torn and not changed. The room was not cleaned - rims from putting a glass on bedside cabinet remained all week. The pool area smells of sewage in places and there are only 8 sunbed and 3 cabins, the pool is hemmed in by buildings on all sides. The staff were very friendly if a little slow. To top it all I accidentally dropped a glass on our last night and was charged $8. Would not go there again.
