“Excellent Hotel with great position and staff”
Reviewed 9 May 2014

We stayed in one of the suites and had a great time. What the hotel lacked in technical areas was more than made up for with excellent customer service. The staff were very friendly and responded well to difficult requests. They arranged for our tuk tuk driver for 3 days of touring the temples and added all the costs to the hotel bill - which was a very reasonable rate. They have a great pool and bar at the back of the property which made you feel as though you were no where near town. The location is great as you can either walk downtown or pay $2 for a tuk tuk. Next door is a very well equipped Lucky supermarket that stocks a wide range of western products at reasonable prices. We had a very relaxing massage after a day of temple exploring. The breakfasts were good with a wide choice of western or Asian. This is a great hotel small but spacious locally owned and run and the staff were excellent. I highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We were in 408 which is a good sized suite. No view as the wall to the supermarket was right next to...

The Asst. front Office Manager picked us up from the airport and provided us with details about the city that we will need for our stay here and he speaks really good English. The complimentary laundry and minibar was a luxury to have, given the hot weather and the amount of walking we had to do when we visited the temples. We got our laundry back on the same day that we sent them for cleaning. Saves on the amount of clothes you have to pack with you for the trip. The staff also gave good recommendation for massage.

The hotel is located in a great location and is within easy walking to much of Siem Reap's attractions. We both liked staying in the hotel as it is a bit of an oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. I would rate the hotel 4star and the staff 5 star as they are both very friendly and helpful. The hotels tours are prised competitively to other online guides. Would definitely stay here again without any second thoughts

I recommend this hotel. I stayed for 5days at May. Their service is really good. Breakfast is delicious. My plan included free charge of laundry service. I took in the remains and sweat everyday. So free laundry service is really good. There is "Lucky Mall" next to the hotel. It was very convenient because there is a shop and ATM in Lucky Mall. I can walk to Night Market from the hotel. Because of facing the street, there was no worry of security at night. There is a shuttle service to and from the airport, it was good.

Room Tip: second floor

We booked this hotel through booking.com. Once the booking was confirmed, the hotel arranged free airport pick up service for us, which was very sweet. Mr Mao was very nice and helpful. We were upgraded to a suite with a swing bed!!! The service in this hotel was brilliant, every staff is friendly.I like the khmer design of the hotel, especially the swimming pool. Great breakfast and the hotel is just located in the city center, so pretty convinient if you want go out for dinner. We stayed there for 3days, and we just wished that we could stay longer. Highly recommended.

The Memoire was recommended by our travel company, and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay there. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival, a most pleasant surprise. The service was, without exception, exemplary, including that provided by staff at the front desk, servers at the wonderful breakfast buffet, porters and housekeeping personnel. They couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. The hotel is quite convenient for access to both the central market area and restaurants and to the short ride to the Angkor complexes.

A truly amazing feat occurred on the night of our departure. One of our party left a pair of prescription sunglasses in the Memoire lobby and realized it after she arrived at the airport, while readying to board her international flight. Alerted by phone, the Memoire staff responded immediately, located the item, rushed it to the airport, and got it to our friend with literally only minutes to spare before final boarding. I was impressed!
