“Truly Asian”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

We only stayed for one night at the Mulberry after spending a few days at another boutique hotel, and wished we had chosen the Mulberry from the get go !
The Mulberry truly is a boutique hotel, with both the level of service and amenities one may expect. It is tucked in a quiet alley, while being only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. We would highly recommend the Mulberry to any traveler looking for comfort, tropical style and Asian hospitality. We will return again !

My family spent 3 nights at family room in Mulberry Boutique hotel.
There were 6 of us and the room fits us perfectly.
Rooms are clean, gorgeous and comfortable. Pool is amazing.
The staffs are attentive, very helpful and make us feel like home.
They suggested us great restaurants and places.
The only thing that I will suggest is the toilet in our room.
It didn't work well sometimes.
Overall, It's wonderful experience.

Room Tip: go for the pool view

My husband and I stayed at The Mulberry Hotel for 3 wonderful nights. On our first night our air conditioning was leaking water, so we were given a new room straight away and we were also upgraded. We ended up with a 2-storey villa which could sleep up to 6 people!
The rooms are big and clean and the pool is very nice.
The hotel is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. The manager Vanya and her staff are friendly and very helpful with everything and service is very personalized.
Highly recommend this hotel!

My friends and I spent 6 wonderful days in Siem Riep, Cambodia, staying at the Mulberry Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, cool, and pretty. The pool was clean, big, lovely. The grounds were extremely well[maintained...lots of flowers and interesting plants. The restaurant and bar were top-notch. The kitchen staff even offered to show us how some of our favorite dishes were made!! But best of all...the staff. To a person, they were fun, helpful, friendly, welcoming, and proactive. They anticipated our needs before we thought of things. And the location of the hotel is perfect...right in the middle of town, but down a short alley so it's quiet. I will definitely stay here again when I visit the region.

Room Tip: Really, all the rooms were great. All open to the pool and have quiet outdoor sitting areas.

To celebrate retirement several teacher friends and I spent 6 nights at this hotel in early July. If a quiet, beautiful, comfortable hotel fits your needs, look no further. The hotel is centrally located and the managers, Vanya and Chomrong, created a family like atmosphere greeting us by name, eager to hear about our experiences each day. They will arrange transportation via tuk-tuk at the drop of a hat. They also orchestrated temple tours for us and arranged spa services for us, which were wonderful. We were happy to meet Pin Cool, the owner, who can be proud of the staff and the surroundings in this hotel. We stayed in two family suites, which can comfortably accommodate five people, although we had three people in one suite and two in another. (We wanted space!) Each suite has a king bed with its own en suite upstairs, twin beds downstairs with another bathroom with a shower, a refrigerator and a living area complete with daybed and television. We also used the "honeymoon suite", complete with outdoor shower, garden and private entrance to the pool area. Because of the heat, we appreciated the air conditioning in these rooms and the comfortable beds provided restful sleep. Chef Sonal prepared excellent meals and breakfast, which is included, offered Asian and Western options. Ya-Ya and Chariya made our dining so enjoyable. After touring temples we found relaxing poolside invigorated us for other adventures. The staff attended to every need and request with wonderful smiles. The Mulberry will offer you an oasis for rest and relaxation and I hope to return!

Room Tip: Downstairs family suites are poolside

My six women-friends and I stayed at the Mulberry for 6 nights, and we LOVED our stay. I want to bring my family back. The employees were my favorite part, as they were friendly, kind, responsive, and helpful. We enjoyed getting to know them as much as we loved touring Cambodia. The rooms, the pool, the food--all amazing. It was clean, beautiful and sweet--like a cocoon or haven that we returned to after hot morning at the temples. People can come to you for massage/spa treatments. All seven of us get services within one hour of request! Their cocktails are amazing. Try the Little Sweet or the ginger mojito. Yum. The owner, who has a great story, came one night that we were there and worked behind the bar and then hung out with us and shared her story. Such a joyful place. I can't recommend strongly enough.

Room Tip: First floor rooms around the pool are convenient, but all rooms are beautiful. The farthest back ro...

I stayed in a family room with two friends for 2 nights in July 2014. The room was huge with a king sized bed upstairs. It had a separate en suite equipped with hair dryer and a dedicated air conditioning unit upstairs. Downstairs had a small kitchen area, another large bathroom, and two twin beds with another air conditioning unit. There was a large day bed in the lounge area with a reasonable selection of TV channels. I cannot praise the staff enough - super friendly and helpful and remembered a difficult Irish name any time I called reception. I had a facial treatment which was divine and good value for money. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries, juice and tea and coffee. You can also choose from the cooked breakfast menu which had both Asian and Western options. Service was always with a smile. I highly recommend staying here
