We heard about Pip Pip from a friend. They only book through email. I emailed a few days before and they were more than accommodating for us. We had no idea how long we were going to stay but that was totally fine! We came and went freely for 8 days and every time were met with smiles. For the price 10$ or 15$ or 20$ (we did the 10$) you get a nice clean room, air cond. TV with lots of cable channels and no hassle. Hugs all around when we left. Would recommend for everyone.
Circumstances (overbooking at "Horizons cambodia"-internet same time booking of their last room) led us to Pip Pip (the Horizons took us there -1 minute away) and we were so happy to stay here 5 nights!
-Location: close to the day and night market area, to the pub street and all small streets around it with restaurants, supermarket, shops. Close to all things mentioned but far enough to get some good sleep too.
-very clean room (3rd floor last one on the left), good space, good AC, tv, water bottles every day, mini fridge, towels, toilet paper, tissues, good instant shower, good free wifi, they clean room every single day. You can see sun rising from the window. I know there are some windowless room, i saw one and it has same quality the ones with window. I do prefer natural light though.
- Smiling Syyeth (the owner) is just a friendly lovely lady & she is the one speaking English well there. We asked her to help us- booking a taxi from the guesthouse to the Cambodia-Thailand border and of course she did easily and we were happy with the quoted price (25 dollar & it took 2h10 minutes)
- on the same street as the Pip Pip -there's Cafe Upstairs (2 min away) and they serve very good cafe, breakfast, cakes. looks airy and smells delicious inside from the chocolate cakes :)
This newly built guesthouse is a short walk across the river from the old market and pub street. I am here for an extended stay and this is a great little place. Although some rooms are windowless they are well appointed and aircon is good. Bathrooms are fresh and clean with instant hot showers. Wifi works quite well. Staff are very helpful. There are different size rooms to suite.
Only had one day to go to angkor wat so we needed to find a place. Showed up at 12 in the night being tired from traveling from Vietnam , and stumbled across this gem . Went up to the room straight away was a huge room and very clean . Bed was very comfortable as well!! Went down in the morning and everyone was so happy lively and talkative and eager to clean our room as well while we went to eat lunch . Left the next day but would highly recommend this to everyone !!!
Stayed there for 3 nights while in siem reap. We weren't surer about it at first as we just stumbled upon it while looking for hostels. They charge per room, so if you are a group of 2 or more it really becomes worth it. For us, a group of 4, we paid 5$ each (less than a hostel, and way safer and cleaner). It was super clean, very beautiful looking, with a TV, AC, water bottles everyday, and room cleaned every day. Staff don't speak too much English, but are very friendly. Would definitely recommend!
Clean and super friendly, you can get their doubles for 8 dollars rather than 10 as they have alot of rooms to sell. Close to the night markets. I shared with a friend, every time we returned our room had been serviced and 2 free bottles of water had been put in the fridge. Air con and a fan, comfy bed.
